What's a beautiful girl?" haha..."Every Step" sounded really pretty, despite the super mediocre lyrics...the worst was "Bold & Delicious"...that version was sorta "mellow & dull" lol. Maybe I'm judging so harshly because I just can't stand poppy voices like that anymore...it's trite now. :/

to be honest... some of the songs are good specially beautiful girl haha but still ayuu make the song better than sweetbox! ^^

Oh my god, these are so... bland & unfinished sounding next to ayu's stuff. Like these could possibly be the very demos ayu heard. Seriously. SO incomplete sounding. Man. These are such a great example of why I like jpop better than western music... western music has this feel way more often than it should. I'll be honest, "pride" and "every step" weren't AWFUL... but the rest were. B&D especially, it sounded really clumsy.

That's what I thought the first time I heard the songs!! and talk about the lyrics!!! it's like she's playing to make music.

Ayu's songs are strong and sound like real music.

but ppl dig this type of music.

Hmm... at www.sweetbox.com they have some longer versions of the samples and I think a lot of the songs actually sound better when you hear a bit more of them...
