Thank goodness, it has been way tooooo long since her last album. 2002?! In any case, I can't wait to hear her new stuff. The blabs provided sound really interesting. Looking forward to hearing her incredible voice again. Thanks for the info.

Big news:

"Ain't No Other Man" has LEAKED!!!

And it's pretty damn good!!! A nice blend of modern pop with that old soul feel. According to ChristinaMultimedia.com this track was produced by DJ Premier and Charles Roane, is set for release on June 12th. It will also be world-premiered on the MTV Movie Awards on June 8th. And, there's talk of a remix which features Outkast!

I'm glad to hear she's back. It's about time for me to add another one of her albums to my collection of cd's. I missed her. It always takes her forever to release an album. Well at least that means she doesn't half step on the CD making process.

Ain't No Other Man is a bit of a disappointment, IMO, but I like the descriptions I've heard about the other songs and I'll still be buying the album.
