Thats what I'm trying to figure out. By the way Michelle has Indonesian ancestry.

As far as this Tila girl goes I'd be ashamed if she was the first to break in to the market. As an Asian music fan I'd rather have Morning Musume break in then her. I can go down a list of better artist then her. If she succeeds I don't think I'd be to happy. I mean people rather listen to her then Hikki?!?! The world must be coming to an end sooner then I thought.

That's what I mean, the masses usually like a body...which means her music is possible to suceed..that's why I put this topic as she could possibly BE the first to break it (because she shows)

I dunno about you guys, but Asians for my use, and in most western use, is for people who are in East Asia. But that's why we'd go into literal aspects that already, an asians already broke the market. (I'd use Oriental, but me being asian myself, I don't like it so much...maybe I should put East Asian)...I just hope someone from Japan is able to make it...

BoA, if she learns English...yayyy...Utada, if she releases a second album....yayyy...RAIN?

There's Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park I'd say he's probably the most successful asian in mainstream american music. Jin's album also sold 200k, not much but still something.

I have never heard about Tila....and from her myspace, I agree that I'd die if she will break international market....

Daking Yeah Mike is an asian...& people loves Fort Minor...so you can say he did break the market...:lol: but wasn't for long
