THOUGHTS ON "SECRET" :30 PREVIEWS...

I wonder if people still feel that the albums 'rushed'. IMO the album sounds faar from 'rushed'. and I'm soo glad people are giving more or less positive remarks about the album^^ Anyways off to play kiss o' kill again!

VERY VERY GOOD

Completely different from her last year, where her singles are the strong tracks. This year, single tracks appears to be weaker but the album track, but the album tracks TOTALLY ROCKED.

Currently have 'Not yet', '1 LOVE', 'It was', 'LABYRINTH', and 'Secret' on repeat. I guess those are the tracks that stand out the MOST from 30 second previews :333.

Not yet - It doesn't beat 'Catcher in the Light' (as of now), but it's still great so far.

1 LOVE - The first time I played the clip, I started headboppin'! Woo!

It was - AHHH! IT'S A NEW "monochrome"!! I can hear it!!! I love me some new monochrome song. :9

LABYRINTH - kaleidescope! Someone should try and construct some...massive mp3 file of all the interludes, kinda like ayu's megamix cds.

Secret - One of them rare ballads on this cd. I can see how it would be used for a theme song. I really want to hear the whole thing, 'cause it seems the preview is really holding back.

The rest of the tracks I didn't mention, I must hear the whole thing! 30 seconds don't do any justice! But...they keep the rabid ayumite calm for a while. Breathe in...breathe out...

I was gonna say "Well, there should at least be some nice pop songs", but D'OH, I fergat about da single tracks. :B lmao

SecretI don't know what's with all the negative opinions of this song. It sounds very emotional and I like the tempo of it. 8/10

Singles we've already heard
Startin'Yeah, like I've said in the past, it's an ok rock song but sounds like something Kumi Koda would sing. 5/10
Born to be...It really does sound like something from the Olympics. I decided I liked it better than Startin', but only by a bit. 6/10
BLUE BIRDI really enjoyed this summer song, it's a nice upbeat pop song by D.A.I., even if it is a bit forgettable. 7/10
Beautiful FightersThis song sticks out like a sore thumb on the album. I can't stand it at all! 1/10

Overall, I can't believe the quality of the album tracks seeing as they were so "rushed." Pretty funny that they've turned out better than Ayu's last 2-3 albums hahaha. With any luck, this album will slide into the number 4 spot of my favorite Ayu albums, after I am..., LOVEppears, and DUTY. I'm thrilled that this album is mostly a rock album, but 3 of those single songs just spoil the album a bit. They are poor songs and sound really out of place. Ahhhh I want to hear the full versions of these songs!

Wow. I love these! The previews sound awesome, better than the singles this year. Secret is just lovely! Not yet, until that Day..., momentum and kiss o' kill are great too. I'm so happy right now, the overall quality of this album (songs/PVs/pics) seems to be very good.

Calling it rushed would still only be a very bad excuse if you didn't like certain tracks. There's no definition of what makes something sound "rushed".

The first 4 songs sound good but overall the album sounds dated. Like a catalog of 90s j-pop.

Not yet - I like it. good opening.

until that Day... - great song. sounds like a mix of ladies night and evolution.

Startin' - I love this one. good to dance to.

1 LOVE - best rock song of hers I have heard yet. I love the end of the chorus.

It was - This song does sound like it would be a good ending song for a anime.

LABYRINTH - It is ok, but it sounds to much like Kaleidoscope.

JEWEL - Love it. Maybe add more music to it. violins maybe.

momentum - ok song. I don't think that this song really goes with the pv.

All I can say is that i honestly do like it enough to actually buy it.. i didnt buy m(u) because I didnt like it that much that I was looking that foward to it..
I was so excited to get the previews (had to get them from ayunite because ahs is having problems..)
but I LOVE it so far!! and 1 Love.. sounds SO much better with that little extra bit aside from what we got on the commercial!! YAY!
