I was quite disappointed with his work~ BORN TO BE PV... It was one of ayu's worst PV ever-.-~ I don't think I will have high expectation about the pv as some of you agree it as well...~~~~

Hmm i dunno bout the director..he can produce something something as wonderful as momentum and as weird as CHU-LIP..versatile i guess? haha
i just wan a beautiful Ayu-ish PV like momentum feeling since when Koda used him to direct? i dunno..someone tell me

4/5 of the PVs this guy directed sucked. Hope part of Me is going to be like a nice PV like Momentum.

^ i really liked how CHU-LIP looked, the colors and stuff, but the cow and cross dressers were...strange...lol
i hope its something fresh and new...and not "been there seen that" kinda thing

CHU-LIP is good in sense. It really fits Ai's character and it brings out the concept of the song. The most important is that I dun feel the pv is lame at least. Born To Be looks lame because the yellow lights/grey scenes (not compatible with the yellow scenes), Startin' looks fake with the lame CG.
I hope part of Me pv can be compared to momentum...

CHU-LIP was good for Ai but hope he won't try the same for Ayu, especially since it's a less crazy song.

we can't forget that Ayu herself comes up with the concepts for her PVs. and i see no problem with Born to Be... it fit the concept of the song and fit the "olympian" theme seeing as how it was Japan's theme for the '06 games.
I'm hopeful at least.

Born To Be concept is good actually, but the use of the super yellow lights and the transition between the yellow scenes and the grey scenes are really bad IMO. If they dim the light by 20%, ayu should be more "visible" then.

I think he just has bad execution of Ayu's ideas.
It's not necessarily his fault, since Ayu can be a confusing person sometimes.. And the only reason his PVs looks so amateurish compared to previous works by Ayu is because there are people like Tetsuo Inoue and Kouki Tange making really "deep-feeling" PVs that cause all of us to "oo and ah" at the visuals.. While Takahide... his stuff feels generic at best.
