I just finished watching it, and boy, am I glad she didn't pull a Beyonce! lol (I'm sorry but I find what happened to Beyonce funny...Bad Me!) In all seriousness, I love the performance. Ayumi looks great and I'm glad she sporting the short-haired style.

Perhaps it's the first time she's performing this song, which explains why she didn't control her breath and everything properly, similar to the time when she first performed evolution to promote A BEST 2 (which got better later on), hence she couldn't sing properly. I'm sure it'll get better subsequently.

I attended both Tokyo performances, and she was wonderful on both counts... I can't watch the video right now, but I'll try to as soon as possible.

Seriously, she was freakin' awesome; I kept having to tell myself that she was right there in front of me (a long ways away but still in front). When she sang talkin' 2 myself, I really wanted her to perform well so I could say "you show em Ayu!!! that's right Japanese people, you know this song is teh awesome!" and indeed I did say it.

And of course, monochrome was magical; she always kicks ass when she sings an oldie.

Outfits were right on man, if you were there and you could see her dazzling (LITERALLY, SHIMMERING...I don't think you can see it unless you're actually there) golden figure amidst the green and black (I recall the backlights were on green...), you'd know what I mean. First outfit worked great with all the high-energy songs (bit risque at times too haha). 3rd one is always hot lol.

Man, whateva, I don't care what anybody says, I know what I saw was the best short-haired deadly shiz ever.

I think we should wait until the DVD comes out before say something The DVD version of CDL 06-07 sounded so much better than its TV version

It is said that some DVDs are edited quite a bit...iono. CDL0203 is the most often-cited example.

Ok so I just watched one video. All I can say is, that's not what I heard. Possbily because a lot of the sound is lost after it not being mixed right, TV broadcast, and then streaming.

Dude! I could hear her pretty well despite the loud rock concert environment! "kore wa maboroshi nanka ja nai..."! hahahah

With all the alterations and twitching in volume and audio, I guess we'll probably have a better impression of the performance. Still, she needs to work on that LIVE!

Well, people don't seem to realize that she performed talkin' 2 myself after 1 LOVE and until that Day.. Both being some of the danciest songs in her discography, the latter one being quite quick lyrically.. D:

I think Ai Otsuka's "choreography" is even less strenuous than UNITE!/Boys&Girls' dances.. lol

So some people's assumptions that "oh, yeah, Ai's / someone else's voice rocks a ton more than Ayu's! She sucks at singing!" seem founded on jumping to conclusions D:

Her vocals weren't THAT bad at all considering how worn out and tired she looks. Look how severe she's perspiring, it a lot more difficult to dance and sing in an environment like that. Give Ayu a BREAK!
