I still can't get over the fact that there are only 10 songs!! ARRGGHHH!!!!!!
I liked Spaceman, Neon Tiger and Human, but I don't think, if these songs are any indicator, that the new album will be as good as Sam's Town

Uhh I love the killers. Didn't know there was a thread for them.
I like the cover a lot ! Can't wait for this album. But yeah just 10 tracks?? And it will be tough for them to top Sam's town. That is a great album!

i LOVE The Killers!
they're one of my favourite groups ^^ i listened to Human some days ago and now i can't stop! it's so great ^^ hope they release the album very soon

Yeah, it's a little disappointing that there's only 10 tracks
But I still think it'll be really good, since everything they put out is always good (at least that't what I think anyway...)Also, I'm sure that on import versions, like Japan, Europe, etc. there will be bonus tracks

Here are some things I thought were interesting, and they make me a LOT more (if thats possible hehe) excited about Day & Age.
"Flowers stated that the concept for the album is a "continuation" of Sam's Town." "In an early review of the album, MusicRadar said "Day & Age isn't just The Killers' best album. It's one of the best records of 2008."" Oh and also! More good news! There are 2 bonus tracks. I don't know what versions of the CD they'll be on yet, but here are the titles. A Crippling Blow Tidal Wave I ordered the Human LP, and A Crippling Blow is the B-side I'm so excited for it to come. I also ordered the Day & Age LP. They won't come until the end of Nov. but I'm still soooooo excited!!

My Day & Age and Human LPs came today!!!
Day & Age is SOOOO GOOD!!!! It came with a really cool double sided poster, and a picture of the band too! I'll take pictures soon to show everyone  edit: Here are the pics! The top left is the picture of the band, which I framed Top right is a Lady GaGa LP, so just ignore that...lol Spoiler:

I also have Sams Town, Somebody Told Me, and Human vinyls. I like collecting theirs for some reason lol Luckily, my dad is like OBSESSED with records and has TONS, so we have 2 record players in the house, so I can actually listen to them =D You should really buy their CDs Drew!!! They're soooo good

I def plan on getting something of theirs soonish. I don't know which album yet, though lol.
also, I totes get the record collecting thing, too. I have some Girls Aloud picture discs and a couple old Julie Brown vinyls and don't even own a record player! haha.

I almost bought GAs The Promise picture disc...I still might, but idk lol Human & Sams Town are both picture discs =) I was trying to think of which CD you should get first...but I just don't know! I guess you could just buy their new one, and work your way back lol

They're one of my favorite American bands. I have their first two albums, Hot Fuss & Sam's Town. I don't have their third album, Sawdust (which I think was B-sides and stuff). My very favorite song from them is All The Things That I've Done.
