Does anyone even know if it was Ayu who gave the final word and said: "Boo, you guys sucked?" :|

..She tells Midoring and Chisa to learn a new choreography with rings!

Girls was so angry sad and they cry....Ayu didnt say it to them personality she ask Peco to do this...Ayu act so unfair to girls...they hard work to make a choreography and at least Ayu say she don't like it....
I think she act like a Holy Cow or something
Actually though, FYI, they already knew the choreography for the rings. Basically, I think they recycled it from A MUSEUM. They probably didn't want to have to resort to it, but they did end up using them :<~

ayu just been proffesional, I don't think that she's the only artist to have high demands from her dancers in her show, of course it's sometimes not so nice but it's better for the show that ayu will act like that, if she wouldn't the show would look like an amature's show.

I echo what most people wrote here. She said that if she were the viewer, she wouldn't be satisfied by that performance. If I'm not wrong, she also said that they could try it again next year, if they practice more. I'll have to watch that part again.

First of all, I would say, don't jump to conclusions. Unless someone here knows what was actually being said, it's easy to misconstrue things.

It's worth noting that not only might the ropes not have fit in, but they were also dangerous. One small slip up and... yeah.

On another note, it is Ayu's tour and if she doesn't think something fits, then it's her decision to make ... along with other people's I'm sure. When you're in charge, you're gonna have to make tough decisions, and you can't just roll with something you're not comfortable with.

And honestly, I prefer the rings.

I think it might be better if the ropes are left for professionals to do it. It is very dangerous especially when you're so high up and there is no place for safety belt or whatever to hook on to like the hoops...and plus they still need to perform after...what if something bad happens. I rather see them wait and practice longer on it than having greater risk of getting injured. In the 10th anniversary cdl, the rope part was done by someone else not the usual dancers I recognize...and she looked pretty professional...I thought that was a smart choice.

I'm not really shocked if she did that
That shows her as a perfectionist artist u know
really
there are some artist who doesnt care about anything else
she just make sure the stage finished, rehearse, then live
and I personally would have been like ayu if I myself was a singer LOL
u have to comment on something whether its good or bad rite
I mean, its your show, u have to give the best, not just a so-so things to show
her dancers will understand it
everytime u see ayu's making of video or documentary
u can see that she's is really a perfrectionist and professional person
u see in glitter/fated, she even 'direct' some scenes
and in talkin' 2 myself, she 'teach' some dance moves
in BoCDL, she really oversee her dancers work
etc

LOL if she was really harsh on the dancers, maybe they could also criticize ayu's vocals when she started training on stage? "c'mon ayu, with these crappy vocals, you won't really please the crowd. you can do better"

I do know the next day they would be looking for a new job though

Actually, she did cancel the act, but then after she also cried (though seperately from the dancers) for the dancers. They were all emotional about it and the pressure. so please do not judge Ayu like that. She want it to be perfect for us and not put so mcuh stress on the dancers because what if they fall and hurt themselve during the concert? So Ayu also cry for them...

huh, sif oui~ no pain no gain~

Being critical, strict and harsh might sound negative but it's all for the better result in the end. If no one pushes you to try do more than your 'limit' then how would you know that IS your limit? How would you improve without someone saying you're not doing good enough??

also, even if she cancelled the act, or ends up not liking it, they should know after being pushed so hard and working/training so hard to learn to do it properly, at least they know they've can do soemthing which they previously can NOT do, and perhaps even be happy that they got the chance to learn it ....

it would feel real stink when they are told that but changes like these shouldn't be a suprise, honestly, it's the show biz~ as long as there is time, things like this can always happen~...

She's just being the boss. She's in charge, and real world is like that. My friend gets yelled at all the time at work, even though her boss is a family friend. It's sometimes hard to forget that yes, they're performers, but in the end, it's not a hobby, it's a job.

I think because they were trying learn it to no avail did she say, "do the rings instead". We have to figure that there are multiple shows to a tour, so they have to learn something they can execute all the time. In the end, they must have had enough time to do it at the end of the year, so they should be happy.

But if you're not hard on your workers, how do you expect them to work? You can see the comradery between Ayu and her dancers, so it shouldn't be a problem. There are things work related, and things that are more personal.

I don't know japanese but there was the scene with her close up and she was crying, (i think) because maybe she heard about how they must have felt when they were asked to switch to rings. She really cares for them but its professional so... plus those rope thingies were really hard for them both.

Plus, the rings were cooler in my opinion, the rope things were a bit boring to watch

Don't fret though..

After those two were kinda "..." with the whole fabric thing [which was over by June], Ayu rehired KAERU as part of her dance crew [she was the one in charge of the whole aerial act with the fabric, and was the one who demonstrated it at first]...

And then KAERU did it at CDL07-08 after Together When... , so it's all good. XD

No matter what kind of show is going on, you can't be a push-over when you're in charge.

Come on, imagine Ayumi being more lenient about choreography (or anything for that matter!). The dancers, backup singers, whoever, simply wouldn't care or give it their all. They'd get the vibe that Ayumi (or the leader of any project) obviously doesn't care if it's not a spectacular performance, therefore they'd figure they not bother.

When you're in charge, you've got to take charge and sometimes be aggressive.

... Damn. I was going to say more and had a lot more to explain about this sort of thing, but now I forgot it all. *snaps fingers*

Well, anyway, rehearsals aren't always fun and games. Especially for this kind of concert, hard work and some lip is most likely -- 99.9% likely -- going to be aroused. I'm sure what happens in most shows/concerts happened here -- they all had fun in the end and forgave any differences between one another.

ANYWAY. I don't think this is something to worry about, like, if Ayumi's kind presence isn't real or not.

(Gee. I didn't realize how far I went on. Oh, well. )

If she gives hard time to dancers to improve, we cannot see the great tour from ayu, right?

Don't forget, ayu also works so hard.
