^me too, i think hikki's first love was the boom that make lots of ppl start to listen to J-pop

but the song that really hooked me up to J-pop was moment by ayu

My first Japanese song was Syunikiss ~二度目の哀悼~ by MALICE MIZER. I instantly fell in love with this song and it made me love Japanese music.

Hikki's Sakura Drops... a friend made me listen to it and then I got it from him and it spread from there... the funny thing is it was a crumby radio rip and at the end, the radio host said in this really american accent: "Very Cool!", I thought it was so funny...

Mine was Hiru no Tsuki from Outlaw Star and then on came the random anime songs and finally I heard "evolution" and fell in LOVE with Ayumi~ And here I am almost ten years later still listening to Ayumi <3 and Jpop!

Mine was Suteki Da Ne by Rikki. Of course, from FFX.

My first Japanese song that I listened to after that, though, when I was really starting to get intrigued by Jpop was "To Be" by Ayumi Hamasaki.

My first song was Precious by Yuna Ito. 2nd was Beautiful Day by Ayu, but somehow.. I hated it?! I love that song now though!
