still, i think ikimono gakari gets better album sales compared to singles, anyway. so you shouldn't worry about the sales so much.

I agree too. It seems that ikimono-gakari is more strong suited towards albums, not singles. They're one of some artists (including Kobukuro, surprisingly, including the Ayu's GUILTY-beating 5296 album) who has #1 albums but NOT #1 singles at all...

It's funny how people stress over pretty much any single release by every artist EVER. These sales are STRAIGHT down their alley. The single sales for Hajimari no Uta :

Futari : 48k
Hotaru no Hikari : 58k
YELL/Joyful : 140k
Nakumonka : 37k

And now for their new album :

Nostalgia : 46k
Arigatou : 130k (still selling)
Kimi ga Iru : 35k (first week)

There is NOTHING abnormal about these sales. Be happy that they're not dropping like pretty much everyone's sales!

Day 7, end of first week: The top five - including ikimono-gakari - has remained unchanged, so still #5. (Someone fell from #6 to #11, so all those behind have moved up, but that's outside the top five...)
