btw, this has bugged me ever since the preview of this song first came out: doesn't the beats in the beginning kinda remind you of the beginning of ayu's Lady Dynamite? for some reason, when the intro comes on, that's what i think of, i can't help it! but it's probably just me, lol.

Koda Kumi performs live at Yokohama in front of 2,500 fans!

At her nationwide hall tour on July 19th in Yokohama , Koda Kumi (28) performed her new song, “Poppin’ love cocktail feat. TEEDA” which is one of the tracks from her upcoming single “4 TIMES“, for the first time live as a part of ‘Koda Kumi Live Tour 2011 ~Dejavu~’.

This is her first hall tour since the ‘LIVE TOUR 2006-2006 SECOND SESSION’ which occurred four years ago. For this tour, she has held 39 stages so far, and will aim to perform on 60 stages in 31 different places.

She participated in this concert with eight bizarre outfit such as a sexy, black & white, one shoulder, tailored dress put together with a black silk hat, a cute, blue princess dress, and a puff sleeved, green dress inspired by “Alice in Wonderland”. She asked the audience, “Did you see Nadeshiko Japan’s (Japan’s women soccer team) match?”, and continued, “I told you, women are amazing. This is the generation for women.” Koda also revealed that she made her appearance on the 18th broadcast of “HEY! HEY! HEY!” while holding her continuous momentum there. Including the encore, she performed 30 songs in total at this live and in front of approximately 2,500 fans.

Koda was “I was not sure if I should hold this ‘Dejavu’ tour after the Tohoku earthquake.” She continued, “If it’s okay to show such a showy performance? But, after meeting and discussing with the victims of this disaster, I reconsidered because Koda Kumi should do what Koda Kumi can do. I think it is because of a time like this, I need to continue to give love, courage, and strength through ‘Koda Kumi’.” Speaking of her live concerts, “I will do my best to continue to do what I do best to give everyone the strength they need through my performances. I will give my utmost best for the rest of my performances.”

‘Koda Kumi Live Tour 2011 ~Dejavu~’ will continue until October 28th.
