 https://twitter.com/nikkansports/sta...86625444622336 Some pointers from the interview Nikkan Sports did with Ken - Anata ni Narita Katta release date comes in 1 day before Ken's official debut date in the business - Ken came up with the album title last year during a walk he did which eventually became a daily exercise routine for him that happened in the midst of the current ongoing COVID-19 pandemic - When asked about the current state in the music business ie. streaming , Ken wondered if it's still necessary to put out an album in an era now where consumers have the choice to listen to selective songs instead of an entire album It's due to the antithesis of this era that the album covers show Ken's face being erased

At long last today is Flying Get day for Anata ni Narita Katta & Ken Hirai Films Vol.15 video release
Another promo picture & Nikkan Sports interview they did with Ken  https://twitter.com/nikkansports/sta...48943722528769 Some pointers from the 2nd interview Nikkan Sports did with Ken - When the Kaibutsu-san collaboration featuring Aimyon was released last March , it was considered a big deal as it was only the 2nd time Ken collaborated with another musician after Grotesque with Namie Ken really enjoyed working with Aimyon & before that he didn't know of her existence in the business - Ken loves music so much until he called himself a Uta Baka - Before Yonezu Kenshi got his big break , back in 2014 Ken covered Yonezu's Eine Kleine during Ken's Bar - All the things Ken wanted to do last year to celebrate his 25th anniversary (from doing a concert on his debut date ie. 13th May in Mie to nationwide tour in Oct) all were scrapped due to COVID-19 The only time Ken appeared publicly was last Dec's Ken Hirai 25th Anniversary Special !! Ken's Bar -ONLINE- & he didn't even appeared on any music shows either as for once he wants to watch the programmes as a spectator & not a performer - Things that Ken never done before COVID-19 but now he does on a daily basis other than taking daily walks -- Take baths instead of quick shower Ken jokes that before this , his body temperature would be around 35 degree Celsius but now it's 36.2 , xD -- Drink plain hot water & do daily meditation

The album is really solid overall, the flow's a mess but I think it's kinda expected seeing how he saw the release of the album to be. If anything, I think he kinda intended it to be messy in terms of the sounds. But I really enjoyed it!

Aimyon's favourite Ken album Answer - SENTIMENTALovers The 2 options were LIFE is... & FAKIN' POP https://twitter.com/SonyMusic_JPN/st...83815059951618 Not very surprised on Aimyon's answer as SENTIMENTALovers is still highly regarded up to now & somemore it's Ken's best selling studio album to date As for the new album tracks in Anata ni Narita Katta , I don't know if it's a coincidence that most of them are upbeat except for Oyasuminasai Sound consistency wise , THE STILL LIFE is still a bit better
