definitely mixed feelings. i expected something completely different. i wish she would have avoided the cutesy look for these covers atleast. her makeup looks natural which i definitely like, but i think these covers would've been better for NEXT LEVEL or something. XD

thanks for the further update. i just jumped on Facebook and saw one of the Ayu pages had a new pic, so i rushed over to AHS to see if there were any new updates. low and behold there weer alot of updates!

the covers are definitely different. maybe i'm not partial to them because i was expecting something completely different. if she would have ditched the cutesy face and had a more fierce/sexy expression, i think the covers would be so much better. that's just my opinion tho.

I'm the opposite. I probably wouldn't like a "fierce" expression like the Rule/Sparkle covers/CDL 09-10 cover. I prefer her normal eyebrows lol.

i don't have a problem with the cutesy look, but it's so old now. she's been doing it all year with the exception of the latest ViVi. if she mixed her looks up i think there would be alot less complaining.

I think her expressions are cute but it's not too cutesy to me. Also, I don't think there would be a lot less complaining if she did that, there would probably be more lol. A lot of people here say they like/want change, then when it comes they hate it.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love her ballads, but where are the upbeat songs and the rock songs? I know we got some on Rock'n'Roll Circus, but it seems so weird her last five singles have been two ballads each (with the exception of Sunrise / Sunset which was one ballad, one upbeat.)

It's really making me nervous about "L" because I'd really like a new pop or rock song. No more ballads...

Sunset was an answer song for Sunrise, for winter its perfect to have ballads cuz its the weather who makes us so nostalgic and emotional, and MOON/blossom/crossroad are belonging to 48/49 and 50th single which means very special to her career, her biggest hits were ballads, people mostly know her for SEASONS and Dearest, not STEP you or talkin' 2 myself.
Even tho, I would like to say 'she's honest in music, maybe she feels that way', but she is a product at the end of the day and singles are suppose to appeal masses.

Not that it's the reason why Ayu releases almost only ballad singles recently though. :l

This!! I really missed the ballads around the NL period. She only had 2 and they weren't amazing to me. She definitely made up for it with all the great ones on RnRC and now these new ones. I don't have a problem with her releasing a lot of ballads. Her ballads are the type of songs I will never get tired of and probably listen to for the rest of my life, they never sound dated like some pop songs could.

I don't think of it as a ballad either because of the chorus. The acoustic orchestra version will definitely turn it into one though lol. I'm so excited for that!

I really missed her ballads during the NEXT LEVEL era too, and all the ballads she's been releasing lately ARE great songs. I'm just missing the upbeat and rock singles lately, I guess. I wouldn't mind if "L" has one ballad, but I'm really hoping for a pop tune and a rock tune. It's been forever since that kind of single. The last was Rule / Sparkle.

I listen to Duty track and Im ok with the fact she wont ever release such track ever again
She never had true rnb track. That was the most far of her rnb journey lol
