I guess it's because I'm always so stunned by the actual photo that I rarely pay attention to things like the font, I just don't think it's that serious.

Looking at it though, I think it's fine. It's supposed to be a parody of a tabloid gossip magazine, and it works perfectly.

^^Personally, I'd never doubt ayu. I'm speculating that the LIFE & STYLE book was postponed because it contained stuff about ayu's marriage, maybe pics of them together and whatnot. So clearly it had to be edited...just an idea though.

It's weird having a shot of Ayu's ass. I kind of like the photo of her on Eyes, Smoke, Magic, despite how freaky it may look.

I think these photos were originally intended to be used for that A LIFE STYLE (or whatever it was called) book. They likely weren't originally intended for the album at all, since Ayu herself said she shot the album covers while in London.

Maybe the cover for how beautiful you are was supposed to be the shoot for this album, but since she didn't have the concept prepared yet while in London, she ended up deciding later to use the A LIFE STYLE (or whatever) photos for the album concept, and just used the London shoot for hbya instead? idk.

Nah but I also thought the covers were gonna be outside, with her wearing a pink wig of some sort. That's why I'm wondering if there will be an alternate cover inside, like there was with Love songs.

^^Somehow I don't think they were MEANT to look that way. Maybe that's how they come off...but I think they were going for "sexy"...

If they were mainly going for sexy that would defy the whole concept, they were going for tacky and cheap -> tabloid.

While I can see tabloid in the cover, I can't see tabloid in the booklet photos. Unless, you know, Ayu happened let the press into her house the morning after the party and she just happened to be lingering in her underwear.

When she gains even a little weight, man it all goes to her face and arms.


anyway, the booklet has a few awkward poses/facial expressions, but meh. The font is also greatly annoying to me. Not pretty at all.
