Personally I find that nice from Ayu. Instead of choosing for a shallow reason, she's using them because someone did them for her. Just like a mother would pin her child's drawing somewhere where everyone could see it.

I think that's part of her mild interactions with fans nowadays. Still, it would be nice if her social media was actually more put together.

The fan who made the design gets happy because their stuff was chosen. The other fans either has the feeling that they can go through the same or that she is interacting with the fandom.

THIS. I feel so sad reading everyone bash someone's art work. TBH it almost sounds jealousy at this point. She's so cute for asking and using her fans' work!
We all start from somewhere, but if we all were laughed at like that, we would be quitting before getting anywhere with our skills. I was taught the basics of Adobe programs as I'm a graphic designer, so I have major respect for people who were or currently are self-taught!
