^They do. the actual first press for the CD-DVD is the vertically long slipcases. The posters aren't the actual first press special necessarily, rather its cdjapans or whatever store is selling it first press external bonus.

It'll be monday soon in Japan, so it'll probably ship then. Who knows though, when RED CLIFF~Shin Sen~ came out, the single actually arrived at my house before CDJapan said they shipped it.

It depends.

Sometimes they ship before, sometimes they ship on the release date.

It's never been the same for me so far.

And it seems to be different with everyone.

For A COMPLETE I remember some people had theirs sent before the official release date, and others had it shipped on the release date.

This is what ive noticed about CDJapan with all the preorders ive done this year. On Friday the status usually changes to In Shipping Process and it ships over the weekend .. BUT because they dont work on the weekend they dont update the status or send emails. On Monday you get the email saying it has been shipped and for me they almost always arrive on Tuesday.

And thats using normal old Airmail

Smart thinking! The shipping does happen in the weekend but it only gets updated on monday.. I hope it's true

I also noticed that items ordered on CDJapan usually arrive on the release date! I still remember my first CDJapan order very clearly xD it was HEART STATION + Poster and I was so surprised that it arrived ON the release date! I felt so special haha xD because I was used to slow yesasia.

cdjapan wasn't like that before. My first order from cdj was DEEP RIVER (hikki) and it took a week after the release to arrive at my house. My next order was then (m)u, and it took much longer (new year's effect), about 2 weeks to deliver my stuff. Everything was like that until when I ordered ULTRA BLUE, it arrived 3 days after the released.. Then LOVE PiECE arrived on the day of release... So the service is getting better and better .
