SEASONS isn't bad, it's not my favorite. But the extended mix sounds better than the on on the CD. My favorite from ayu trance 4 are Far away, MOON, poker face, monochrome, Rule, vogue (my absolute favorite), Endless sorrow, and CAROLS. But I don't know why every time someone remixes CAROLS they make Ayu sound like she has a mental disorder.

The remixer played with Ayu's voice a lot on this track, indeed. I think it's a good thing! It makes this song a whole new experience and I think the heavily edited vocals are a part of this feeling.

Have you ever tried the 'part of Me' or 'Who...' remixes from Dj Amaya? Those have a veeeeeeeeery special voice editing xD

Far away is good, probably my second favorite. Followed by MOON. I hate Rule and Carols (and Days). Carols STF Remix is super bomb though. poker face and monochrome I like and vogue is ok. But these last three (as well as the rest of the CD) I tire of so easily. The production of those trance remixes are just not on par with the quality of Far away and SEASONS which is more in style with today's trance. They just sound so outdated and boring and very basic.

I don't mind that the vocals were edited but they seriously couldn't do a better job than that? Not that I'm really complaining because I adore the remix regardless. It's just her original vocals are so pretty and the remixed ones, not so much.

It is not! Omg, I guess it's all opinion but it has so much detail. Like the subtle morphed echo of her voice in the background. The production of the remix really does an amazing job carrying the chorus along.

Also I love Far Away but really it is not creative - it used the same damn melody from the original. Doesn't sound bad but I tire of it so easily - it's too predictable.

This is what I love the most about the 'Far away' remix! It's as if 'Far away' Original mix has transformed into a more trancy version, not like a usual remix that often sounds completely different.

I noticed this on many remixes of the ayu-mix 7 albums! (For example 'Mirrorcle World' and 'fairyland' from HOUSE version!)

Far away is probably the best remix on the whole album. I have no idea about new vs. old trance to be honest, I just know what sounds good to my ears. I like the majority of the remixes on this album but I think my favorite album is still the very first ayu trance.

It's funny, because Ayu-mi-x 7 completely surprised me when it comes to the genre I love most. I had expected to love Ayu-ro-mix most, but that turns out to be my least favorite of the 3 uptempo ones. Ayu-trance is by far my favorite, it just has so many amazing remixes.

Far Away, Poker Face, Monochrome and Vogue are my favorites.

I prefer the original melody of far away, it's magical. I'm glad they didn't change it too much. They just made it sound more epic!

Finally started listening to ayu trance. Have to say, not the absolute best but my favorite mix is SEASONS and second favorite Far away. Also really like poker face and monochrome is good. Don't get what the fuss about vogue is - it's so amateur. Lol. Will have to listen to it on my drive down to give plasma tomorrow night and make my verdict as far as rankings go. I really don't care for Days - I feel it's kind of boring (I love the original Days and the magical melody is lost in this version).

I thought the album would be more modern trance style (SEASONS and Far away fit the bill - Days a little bit too but I don't like the instrument they used for part of the melody).
