I'm sure she's sounded worse but she still sounds terrible lol. Damn, I hope the vocal editing on the DVD is A+++ because the concert looks kind of cool despite the setlist (I hate).

Yeah like it's really not that bad and I think with FTL she just doesn't care. But it's not great for her standards which are already lower. I think it will be listenable and enjoyable as long as she has emotion there. I don't recall anyone who went to the concert complaining a lot.

I hope it's decent in full though

Her AT08 vocals were faaar worse... They are ok here imho.

I fully agree. I think that the way she uses voice in this part is fabulous and she should come up with songs where she could utilize it more.

Except from WHATEVER, I find it amazing that you guys can rate her vocal from these previews where she hardly even finish a sentence...

Ayu has sounded way worse in the past. There have been times where she was off key for the entire song. Her vocals, in this preview, are pretty spot on. If these are her un-edited vocals, or if they are only minimally edited, then I think her voice must have been very well rested for what ever performance they filmed for the TV version.
A lot of people seem to forget that Ayu has never been an amazing, perfect pitch singer. Also, she's deaf in one ear which is a huge disadvantage for a singer, and Ayu is in her 30's now; just the basic anatomy of aging vocal cords means that she will never, naturally, again sound like she did when she first recorded some of these songs.

Whilst we're on the subject of AT08...if we can live through the End Roll and HANABI vocals from that DVD..we can get through anything.

Honestly i barely manage but i avoid watching this live with friends due to vocals in this concert (in this particular part). But the bitchy part is sooo gooood there (I adore that costume) and Marionette and Mirrorcle World. Man, what a shame we didn't get the full recording from Yokohama final day.

I somehow never noticed that her voice in those two live performances were in any way lacking... XD I could totally hear what people are saying though but somehow I never even noticed.

After reading comments about her voice I was expecting the worst, but she sound good enough to me. Not sure what so bad about her vocals, it's not like she had Leona Lewis voice couple of years ago.

this x1000000. this is exactly why I just can't enjoy any tour post AT05 (save for RnRC, of course). tbh I've just given up on watching them at this point lol

this is why I'm in the minority that doesn't find the ASFXX performance from a-nation 08 great... ASFXX is such a powerful song, choreographing every single kick defeats the purpose imo
but I'm getting off topic lol

It's already Wednesday, August 13th, and one thing's for sure: Ayu's NOT going to be in the FNS (Fuji TV) Uta no Natsu Matsuri event tonight (http://www.fujitv.co.jp/FNS/2014s/). But where is Ayu anyways? Maybe getting ready for a-nation stadium live? (And why is the FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri part of the a-nation program???)

I prefer to just listen to the audio rip of A-Nation '08 and imagine her as she performed it for Dome Tour with that kind of attitude
