Flavor of Life imo is a cute little ballad, not at all in my top 10 for her ballads but I appreciate what it did for her career at the time.

The original mix is one of the most bland arrangements post-Distance, though. It's like all the most watered down, boring elements of This Is Love and Beautiful World.

If we are talking about Heart Station favorites, Nijiiro Bus is beautiful. I just love the feeling that song gives me. I always fall in love all over again when I hear it. Same thing with Take 5. I have not listened to Heart Station for quite some time now despite that being my favorite album.

I love the HEART STATION album but dear GOD! Flavor of Life and Kiss & Cry are such a CHORE to listen to! Other than that, fantastic album.

I love the original mix of Flavor Of Life. Regarding the ballad version, I find the studio take quite boring, but I love the live version at WILD LIFE.

HEART STATION is my least favorite album and I don't care much about it, but Nijiiro Bus is PURE LOVE, oh my!

Happy to see the Nijiiro Bus love in here it’s by far my favorite track on HS. The way it starts out cute and childish but switches into a bittersweet emotional climax at the end is flawless. It’s almost as if we watch her go from a child to an adult in the span of 6 minutes.
