Crazy cool! Hikki took 4 of the spots out the ten. She sold so crazy back then....and look at Namie! She sold CYC like crazy! Ayu, of course, was going to be on the list....she was a crazy seller too. I'm so happy that some of my fave artist placed on that list. Congrats to them! Woot!

I thought Hikki was always overrated. Her songs never really good unless for that infamous first love.

only thing matter is that they sell well...

but the hikki's songs on the chart are some of her best songs...imo

A's 6th? XDD cool! and A BEST is the overall 6th best selling album in Japan XDD two 6s is pretty awesome!

CAN YOU CELEBRATE? is one of Namie's best songs so no wonder why it sold a lot ^_^.
and some of hikki's best songs are there too xD

Does one of Namie's albums is one of the top 10 best selling albums in Japan (not only females, but overall)? I always wondered >.<

SWEET 19 BLUES is the 12th best-selling album in Japan, Concentration 20 is 80th, DANCE TRACKS VOL. 1 is 88th and 181920 is 106th.

Blame that on Ayumi and Utada both of them combine takes up 4 of the top ten spots. lol Those albums sold like crazy too not mention it was some of their best work....well, for Utada anyways. But I noticed that on wikipedia and wiki.theppn Oricon's article has the sells and positions are all wrong not mention missing information.

ah.. those good old days when singers can sell million copies of CD singles...

nowadays, they strip, dance, wear push up bra, n still losing their breath to sell 100.000 copies

If globe's self-titled album sold 3.36m copies from March 31 to May 27 and SWEET 19 BLUES sold 3.18m from July 27 until the end of 1996, when was it the biggest-selling album of all time?
