I wouldn't really connect desperation with kissing posters of your idol.

I could totally kiss an Ayu poster or when my girlfriend is sitting beside me without a problem .

I don't know about posters (as many are glossy), but I don't think the calenders damage as easily. Feel free to kiss them as much as you like, but like immel said, don't overdo it of course

anyway i'd already had ayu's poster right on the wall beside my bed...so i can look at her everyday~lolx
