I like both dancers but Kuu ftw! =D
I like her energy with her dances.. although she doesn't dance all the time, but when she does its really good! =D though its starting to decrease.. but its still good! =D
And I like the fact she tries different styles of dancing...

Namie's good too.. but I dunno... dancing exactly like the PV all the time is boring.. sometimes a bit of variety is nice..
Plus shes always so emotionless....

And please don't mention BoA... she lipsyncs like there's no tomorrow...
Yeah she sings live in Japan... but in Korea, dance training is basically like oxygen for you...
So she's had more training with dancing...

I can't stand her more recent PVs. She's boring to watch. She might be better live ... but I think that the voting should ecompass both PVs and live performances, not just live performances.

P.S: I'm tired and cranky.

As much as I love Namie, that certain trait was very off-putting when I first go into her. Not so much anymore though.

But I can't really choose whose the better dancer because I don't really concentrate on their dancing in PV's/performances that much unless it's REALLY good or an obvious hot mess.

Damn. I love Namie she been dancing for a while and she can dance her culo off. But Koda Kumi is more flexable with her dances. I can't choose because Kumi is more flexable but Namie has more move and could sing/dance at the same time.

dancing in heels is part of the industry...
and boots are better for dancing in...
if you wear just heels, they gotta have support otherwise they'll fall off or whatever...

thats why I respect Namie and Kuu and the other singers who dance in heels..
Most do dance in heels.. but some can't...

They have totally two different styles of dancing.
Namie's dances are more,...soft and laid-back. She don't pull a lot of breath-spending moves but she still manages to make her dances look catchy (like SO CRAZY, CSCEIS, & Put 'Em Up dances, just to name a few). Thus, she manages to sing and dance at the same time and afaik, rarely use backing track.
This is opposed to Kumi. She dances with lots of energy, gave it a lot of variations, jumping and all. Unfortunately, due to this, she uses backing track a lot when dancing.

As I appreciate performer who can dance and sing at the same time, I'd go with Namie Amuro.

Kuu! Not that Namie isn't good at dancing, but Kuu just has better dances.

But then again: I feel like Kuu can't really sing that good while she's dancing and that is something Namie can!

this proves 3 things:
-She DOES smile in some of her performances (namely performances from of her old songs, in this case You're My Sunshine[1996]) on 2:08

-She can show some POWERFUL dances moves (3:09 to 3:22)

-She can perform extremely well vocally right after her dancing (after 3:24)

This is arguably one for her best live performances.

Namie Amuro is a better dancer. ;3 She can sing and dance for many consecutive songs in a concert, and that is an amazing skill. Koda however just forgets to sing when she is dancing.. so I pick Namie. XD
