Thoughts on talkin' 2 myself single!

Wow. I am impressed. This single is definitely an awesome one. I love everything about it. Both double-A songs are simply breathtaking. The AO of fated is a bit too mellow for my tastes but otherwise everything sounds perfect.

The best single from Ayu ever. This far. :3 This whole day has felt like Christmas or something, since morning I've been nervously waiting for a sweet person to leak this single, and when it finally leaked I was nearly crying out of happiness, almost like I got a present I've been waiting so long.

talkin' 2 myself: Just awesome. So awesome. I never get tired of the chorus.
Decision: I felt like I would get a heart attack while I listened it for the first time. When I heard the previews I was like "Ehh.... Well, guess it's okay." but this nailed it: AWESOME. GO AYUUU!!
fated AOV: It's good. Although prefer the original more. But I like this one too.

Best single tracks since STEP you. I'm not yet quite sure that I'd call talkin' 2 myself her best overall single since STEP you, as I'm a huge remix fan and some singles had very nice remixes. But like Secret last year, this single confirms to me that Ayu can still produce great new material.

I'm not usually a fan of instrumentals, but these are good. Fated Orchestra Version is surprisingly beautiful.

I'm very happy with the single.

What's going people? Why does you hate so much the orchestra of fated? It looks fanmade but the connection of instrumental and song is kinda great!

decision: I love the opening! It's nice and tranquil yet somber sounding then it kicks into a strong rock beat The rock beat itself sounds really edgy and is reminiscent of "GAME". Then it falls back down to background piano....yet the transition isn't sudden and works very well. Ayu's voice also sounds very empowered and makes the jump from the bridge to the chorus nicely. The guitar riff at the end of the first chorus is a new thing for her and it's a great change!

I really hope that she won't perform this in the strange lower-key voice-straining style that she's currently doing t2m in because it sounds really great right now. The instrumental break is also good, and the vocals that follow right after are lovely--probably my favorite part of the song! Overall, I think this song is great, and that the way the vocals do the rise-and-fall remind me a little of "is this LOVE?". Yet there are plenty of new elements to make it stand on its own. I'm not as taken aback by "ooo ooo yeaaaahhhs" as I initially was in the preview...it sounds better this time.

fated (orchestra version): As a violinist, I love orchestral remixes and string accompaniments, and this works much better than the original mix. And the vocals this time sound much more clear....is it simply the remixing or did she re-record? I guess I was expecting a more diverse line of strings---like a strong cello line more than mostly similar violin, but it's still marvelously arranged to match the ups-and-downs of her voice. I expected an instrumental break as captivating as the guitar break in the original, but I guess it would then make the song too long. Overall, it's a good reworking of the song, but it doesn't measure up to some of the MY STORY Classical remixes.

My opinion of decision is basically the same as everyone else's, I'm stunned at such an amazing song! I love talkin' 2 myself too but decision is just incredible. Ayu really outdid herself this time!

I'm so happy with this single! I love Decision, but I still love talkin' 2 myself a little bit more. I am a bit disappointed in fated Orchestra Version though, so I'll stick to the original.

This single is EXCELLENT I usually am not one to like the Orchestra versions of songs, but fated is so gorgeous this way, the musical instrumental part at the end is so beautiful and that remix was really well done. decision freakin rocks, the chords in the middle of the song are unlike any other Ayu song, very well played out, and from the looks of it, the PV is gonna ROCK. I haven't like an Ayu single this much since Bold&Delicious / Pride. I can't wait to get it in the mail!

talkin' 2 myself - What hasn't been said already? I loved it when it first came out and I still love it.

decision - Didn't really like the beginning but as the song goes on and builds up, I'm loving it. I really like Ayu's vocals in this song.

fated OV - I was more excited to hear this than decision and I am in no way disappointed. It's not as good as some of her old OV's (alterna, still alone etc.) but it's still really good, especially in the middle and end.

Overall, this single is definitely one of her good ones and I really hope it sells well. Ayu deserves a pat on the back and a very large cookie.
