I personally thought it was tied in to her deafness, I know she'd known about it long before but like in early 2008 when she announced how bad it had progressed to. I assume that's what "Until that day" is about, at least.

She discovered it a few days before CDL07-08 if I remember it right... After the album and the tour for sure.

^ well it was announced to her fans sometime in January of 2008... apparently she went for a check up the year before... so she had been having problems with it for quite some time.

She announced in 2008 that she was completely deaf... and something like that takes time... it doesnt happen over night, or over a few months...

I remember reading something about her being sick back in 2003/4 and the doctors told her to slow it down, but she refused. So I think she "knew" for a very long time, but just didn't want to believe... 'until that Day...' (lol, I couldn't help it...)

^Her hearing problems started way before 2007, back in late 90s, early 00s (she already had them during Dome Tour).

And either one of her her posts about the case on TA or some interview after it expressed some of her feelings about performing during CDL after discovering it. I really doubt Secret is influenced by her hearing problems, Guilty and Rock n Roll Circus on the other side....

But she could of not accepted that fact until much later.

it happens with stubborn people all the time... thinking they can do something, but after years, finally having to give in.
