glitter isn't necessarily bad; I think it's become somewhat of a trend to hate on recent Ayu releases and hark on her 2000-2002 era. Apparently she could do no wrong then, but now it's become "cool" to think that Ayu's age is over or something. It probably is, pop-culture wise, but her music is still good. Hell, I think "fated" is on the same level as "NEVER EVER".

It's not the era. It's the music that counts.

People just have to keep being negative when it comes to ayu, have no idea why...

There will always be a problem with something... ayu's not perfect (like ANY other artist) but most of the time I think that people exaggarate, most of the times those are people that hate/dislike ayu or just like some of her songs and generally doesn't into her or her fans.

You don't have to be an ayu fan to listen to her of course, but you don't have to keep being negative towards her(and give her actually chances for her high quality stuff which is most of the things she does if not almost all xD) and not find the bad things in every time something's coming.

ayu is one of the aritsts with the highest qualities, I just have to admit and she deserves any single success she's earned and will earn.

Even though i'm sure its completely unnecessary for me to post this, because I’m sure its already been stated, but I will comment anyways! I love “glitter”! Sure, its not the most original of songs, but for the kind of song it was, it was great! It was fun, cute, and breezy- just like summer.

And as for it being the same as “fairyland” or “Blue Bird”, I don’t think it really sounds like either of them. Some of the elements are similar, but they were all summer songs whose point was to create that summer feeling. That’s their only similarity. I felt that “glitter was a fresh sound for Ayu.

And I have to agree 100% with what both ayumisrael and namiie said! Both of you hit the nail right on the head.

I love ayumi. I love everything she puts out because she puts all she has into it. And its all quality music.

I can't say I really appreciate "glitter" for the lyrics, which I usually look for in Ayu's songs, but in my own opinion I honestly think this is her best summer song. It's really the first line of the chorus that just gets me every time
