I always think that the "general public", that is - not "fans", prefer buying "BEST" albums over studio albums, simply because they have all the hits. So I think that A SUMMER BEST will hopefully do just as well as Party Queen, if not better.

And the covers are slowly growing on me, but they remain some of the worst in her discography. I can't put my finger on it, but I really dislike something about them.

I say 20.000 in it's debute, and it will hold on pretty well and get a maximum of 90.000 sales... What do they expect, really? It's like avex is trying to make her flop.

I predict 40,000~ first day sales and 130,000~ by the end of its run. I'm just glad she is releasing a new song.

I can't wait for You and Me and the PV. if this song is pretty good and the PV is done on the past-ayu level, it will also help the sales. and that matters - they need to air promotional CM every hour on TV!

She should do that with a release that is worthy of being promoted everywhere. You know, like a single. Not a compilation album, on which most all the dated tracks already appeared on compilation albums and just one new song (cough desperate recycling in hopes to get a #1 spot, which most probably won't be granted for this release omg). I want ayu's face ALL OVER TOKYO! On the busses, cars, buildings, in hotelrooms, toilets, restaurants, hospitals, trafficlights, airplanes and lastly I want her to do the big ass painting which Namie Amuro did for her Uncontrolled album!

She should do this for her upcoming single, and that might be the upcoming ToX song!

Yes I agree! This kind of promotion is only for BEST albums, though I feel that she needs to boast her sales a bit. It seems that Japan now only actively follow her tours and such and kinda slipped with the music. It was sad seeing Party Queen chart on the 2nd place and not getting higher, and this all was to blame on the lousy promotion! So idk I think she should release something that has been promoted heavily so she can smack all those overrated J-POP/K-POP groups in their 48 membered faces!

I think she'll do something amazing with the ToX song though. And as much as I respect several people liking Timmy's work, I hope she did the song with Yuta Nakano again! This is the most anticipated release for me this year .
