Thoughts on 1 LOVE PV

Well, I really like it. The clown is done better than Alterna and it looks less ridiculous, but I think it fits along the same lines as Alterna and the attitude she has on herself being a musician now (and maybe even Pride).

So? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. What exactly is new or fresh about PVs like Beautiful Fighters or Born to Be? Ayu has just as many light themed PVs as she does dark(if not more), so why aren't those looked at as being recycled and of a style thats already been done before?

I personally loved the PV. Not my absolute fave of her darker PVs, but still great. I thought her pole dancing was just fine.

My only little complaint about this PV is that I wish there was a better variety of freaks in the show. The wolfman was interesting, the eating man was disgusting (but it still worked), and the otaku was funny (would've been better if he was a fat white gaijin version instead though lolo). The other freaks were just subpar. I liked someone's earlier post saying they should've had a magician or something. Oh well, it was all entertaining nonetheless .

It was pretty good, but there was just...something missing for me that would have brought it all together. I can't put my finger on it, though.

I'm wondering, though, how did Ayu the musician get there in the first place? She seems so defiant. And what happened to her?

I thought it was ok. But it lacked something, I don't know what. And the plot was all over the place and not well executed. I really diden't like the ending. However I diden't really think it was similar to GAME.

V for Vendetta mask? LOL. xD Guy Fawkes mask would be more likely a correct term. And it only half resembled it.

Anyway. This is her best pv of 2006, obviously. Not much else to say.

Yay~ I finally watched it. Well, she was sexy. xD The beast guy was really cool. The eater gross. It was nice how Ayu pushed the clown away when he tried to grab her, wasn't expecting that. And the flower ring-camera thingy was cool. When someone said it reminded them of a Lumix CM, they were right. xD

FYI, CeS just told me that the "censored" thing the Otaku was holding was a MECHA figurine (from Evangelion, Gundam, et. al.). They had to blur out the figurine because they did not want to pay royalties for the respective anime/manga. Her pole dancing was pretty good since she doesn't do it professionally. And she looked like she couldn't walk after pole dancing in the making-of. Poor Ayu. ;_;

And I saw her tattoo in the PV on my second watch. But~ It was just a black blur that flashed by so fast~ ;_;

I liked it, especially the imagery in it. I liked the auction, and the police getting caught in the end - wasn't sure if it was Ayu because I watched in on youtube and couldn't see that part properly, but it looked like her to me, I'm glad other people saw that too.

I have a low quality rip of the alterna pv on my other computer, and it was ripped off some tv station-thingy. o__o So doesn't that mean it aired?

I remember when "alterna" aired and everyone was saying that Japan wouldn't air it on their TV but China did so that's where the first rip of the PV came from and it was pretty bad quality. I was thinking that if they were willing to not air that video, they would probably not air "1 LOVE" because I think it's themes are a lot darker than "alterna"'s.

And that would suck if they never aired "1 LOVE". It needs to air! Everyone must see it's amazing-ness!

Hmm...did anyone see ayumi fall? I think that was pretty funny, pretty sure it was scripted, but yeah around 2:15 she falls.

I don't get the PV though, reading CES's information she got on it, it doesn't really HELP what the PV was all about...high class people buying human pets...but what about the end, what is the mask representing, etc. etc.

I really liked it, but at first, like many other people it seems, I didn't get the PV either xD
I would guess its a commentary about how people don't really care about what happens to other people on the fringes of society? Maybe, or maybe I just procrastinate too much =P

The PV was pretty standard, no real variation throughout. Shot of her pole dancing, switch to beast, switch to aerobatics girl, then glutton guy, then to some others...and back to ayu. repeat over and over but with different camera angles. A letdown, just like JEWEL. The problem is that this PV lacked any progression or action right up to the very end.

I really liked how Ayu sometimes grabbed the money being thrown at her and threw it right back--it made her look tough and saucy.

ahah, I LOVED that! That was awesome. Subtle, but just great.

The ending blew me away, however. The sudden angle of ayu and the cops kinda just standing in front of the clown while he laughs, and immediate switch to them crawling and screaming all over the main stage to a crowd. crazy stuff.
