THIS IS INSANE!!!!! My head is hurting from thinking about this so much, as is everyone else most likely.
Before, I said this Jolin girl looked copy-cattish but now that I look at her & compare her to Ayu; it doesn't even matter. If she was so good at copying Ayu; I (or anyone else) wouldn't have had to ask who the heck she was. In the end, if she is copying Ayu; she'll just have to live with being a copycat, just like every other copycat in the world. If she isn't, I'm sorry for prejudging her originality... Besides, whoever/whatever she is, she's obviously not doing a good job at being herself. Anybody with some coomon sense when it comes to fashion should know that thick silver bracelets look tacky after you have five or more of them on anyway!! & that goes for Ayu too even though I haven't seen her wear any since that little thumbnail picture on the 1st page. Speaking of which...At least Ayu had the decency to where the same STYLE of multi-bracelets. ...just excuse my ranting. I'm just a little mad. I can't believe this thing was still going on; that's all...This kind of stuff will really give somebody a heartattack if they they let it...^_^;

Madonna probably doesn't even know what "an Ayu" is...let alone the fact that she's a person. I guess that's why Ayu said a while back that she never wanted to meet any of her idols. Doesn't matter how big or famous ya get, to some people (not saying Madonna is/isn't) you're just a person.

  I myself think this above concidence is really way too similar. from http://sg.geocities.com/ayuorigin/ i think some are being rather harsh on jolin. lets just say she's being 'inspired' by ayu's style?

There's a big difference between being influenced and inspired by someone and dressing up like someone and copying (meaning clothes, accessoiries, concert costumes, PV, CD cover) someone.

oh well if she copies ayu, can't do anything about it anyway. It's all about the music and Jolin has some pretty good songs. Now if she started doing ayumi covers, then for sure she's an ayumi wannabe =p

When Jolin sins Boys & Girls she's covering NOT COPYING. Cut this out please. Ayu has COVERED Yum Matsutoya by singing "Shotsugyo Shashin". Was she copying then? Covering is not copying heh
