But tbh kinda doubting the article now... maybe everything is fake after all? Cos I thought it's funny how only one not-HQ article "scan" came out, yet there's no TV report or anything. The last time she did a tie-in with Sunrise/Sunset, it was on TV iirc, so... this is a huge game somemore ._.

I'm pretty sure the actual tie-in is still happening, isn't it? Didn't we get pics from a press conference or something like such?

But yeah, I was really liking the title Making Fate as well as its lyrics, to be honest... Really hope there's some kind of misunderstanding ^^;;

It's definitely happening. The fact that she's singing the theme song has been heavily touted in reliable sources, such as the official debut trailer, and, as you said, she appeared via video during the press conference.

I see two possibilities from this tweet:

A. The title was fake or a leaked working title.

B. Ayu forgot the title. She probably recorded this song months before it was actually announced, and it's probably going to be many more months until it's actually released. Of all the millions of things going on in her career right now, I don't think "Making Fate" is at the top of the list.

And who knows, maybe Ayu was referring to something else in that tweet? Like ... "What is 'Cheers'???", or France, but that'd be strange after Mirrorcle World

Anywho, I for one hope Making Fate is true; for such an awesome title and awesome lyrics, it'd be a shame for it to end up being a hoax...
