I heard the preview and... it's just O_____o Old Ayu? God - it's not this voice. She sounds like broken record and all those melodies from her tracks are worse and worse.

Nothing Ayu can do seems to be able to impress the majority...

I bet if she took a hiatus like Hikki everyone would be begging for music again, we should be thankful we at least have new stuff coming to us so often. A LQ preview doesn't mean the song will be good or bad, just wait for for the full thing.

This! Fans are a difficult bunch to please : P. They want more music but they want more of the same but they also want originality AS LONG AS it doesn't stray from her regular formula but aside from wanting new and exciting stuff they also want her to release something every day (preferably) and every release had better be her best one yet and also magically please every fan there is!

Well I'm glad you are enjoying it. I'm just patiently waiting for something more my cup of tea. 2 more singles in 2 months - somethings gotta be AMAZING (although I do reeeeally like blossom).

But what I mean about being composed the right way, is that it seemed that the feel of the song was spot on. There's a lot more about her music now that I tend to think "This would have been better if this melody here was changed, if the composition in this part was used more throughout the song, if she sang in this tone here instead of that tone, etc.

To me it seems like they just didn't give it enough time in the studio for it to fully bloom.

I see. You mentioned something about wanting another JEWEL earlier, have you listened to the meaning of Love piano version? It kind of gave me that same feeling/something similar, probably because the same person arranged it.

I don't.
Real me, Pride/Bold & Delicious were close enough. If she went RnB or hip hop...well, I probably wouldn't like her music since I am not a fan of those styles myself. I would still love and respect her as an artist, but she doesn't need to try a new genre. She has hardcore fans that have stuck with her for 11 years now...and I think if she did change into a Kumi or Namie type singer, she would lose a lot of them.

Who in the world said it sounded like A Song is Born? Even though it's by that same composer it honestly really sounds like an ASFXX track more than anything else.
