^ She updated TA about an hour ago, talking about her bracelet and about a-nation. Judging from the entry, I think a-nation hate is the culprit...

^^^ "a-nation" hate? What kind of hate?
Is this something that happens every year around a-nation?

People are annoyed about Ayu becoming a trio with Urata and JUNO.

Yeah, I'm still not getting the meaning of the Ayu-Urata-JUNO kind of stuff...

![]() I do agree. She's in her 30s, not her 20s. The 20s were her young life and rise to fame, but now with the fact that she's more mature in the 30s, I think Ayu deserves to take a break and let the others in the Japanese pop music industry compete. |

Yeah! Hope that she will be fine soon. Cheer up Ayu!

If all the artists in Japan thought this way, they would all retire/"take a break" and the music industry would go to *****. The majority of the best sellers are over their 30s (and exceptions of course like AKB48, and others) Not saying she shouldn't take a break, but I'm just tired that because she's not 29 and 30+ she has to retire, most people work until they're over 60 or something. The age thing just doesn't matter. Drop it lol |

I wonder if she did go on break would anyone miss her. Would anyone but fans notice? I doubt it.

Yeah and it's one thing when an artists keeps you holding on as a fan, but a totally different case when that artist goes away for a while and tries to comeback to the same fanbase.

^ That's why I don't get her absence from TV. Japanese ppl who watch TV must think she's dead or something. It's almost september and we only had one single TV performance of hers this year...
No matter if she "feels like" focussing on other stuff, I am sure ppl will nevertheless start to forget about her as she loses more and more importance to the most viewed music shows on television. |

I don't know, a break might be refreshing for her fans, really. She's been going nonstop for the last 15 years, which for a solo artist is pretty crazy.
Her workaholic nature though probably prevents her from taking one though. There have been artists who have left for a while to relax and come back stronger than ever. I think the major reason for Ayu's fanbase declining is because she's seen as someone who has been around "for a long time" which can put new listeners off.

sometimes, I wonder why Ayu never take a long break? Like a year.
Now, I always think that is because she loves her job and her fans a lot! |
