Thoughts on "MOON ~short edit~"?
(I'm really surprised this hasn't been made yet, so if I somehow missed it, please delete this one xD)
So yeah. MOON ~short edit~. Hmm... I really don't like it T___T Which is a shame cause I was loving everything about this single up until now. The Dlb director clearly tried to pull another Dlb, but the difference was... it worked for Dlb, and it did not for MOON  . I mean, the entire PV is her sitting in a lavish home, on a couch, with flashbacks of happier times (on the same couch), and the PV climaxes with a random chair falling.Like... what?  I was really enjoying how contemporary and well-thought out the RnRC PVs were, so this definitely seems like a step backwards. I'm sure there's symbolism and all that in the candle, and the clock, and the chair, and whatever, but just... really? There's nothing about MOON that makes me want to watch it again, and I know there's going to be a full version later on, but if this is what 3 minutes (out of a 4 minute-or-so song) of the PV will look like, I don't have super high hopes for the rest of it ^^;; That being said, I still love this single, and I'm still buying it, and the song is still as awesome as ever. <3

I cannot barely see ayu's face in the PV. I hope the single version of PV grow on me.
Does anyone notice the TV version of MOON PV is just ~short edit~, but the single version of MOON PV is listed as "MOON (video clip)"? I think the MOON (video clip) will be the full edition of PV. Hopefully this marketing works for the sell.

it's a short edit & a teaser . Hopefully the full PV will change people's opinions on it as a preview of a song/PV doesn't do justice to a full thing at the end of the day

I thought it was alright...I just want the longer version. The scenery was nice and Ayu looked beautiful but uh...there wasn't much going on in the PV lol. I don't know maybe it was because it was the short version but from the screen caps it looked like it had potential to be epic and all fantasy-like or something
 .

Err...okay. I'm pretty sure not all of those flashes were happy times....nevertheless
I thnik DLB really wasn't that amazing. And this is shaping up to be muuuuchhh better The artistic direction is better. Like the whole setting. Like there's actually a lot more to think about. Like I said somewhere else it feels like a lot of intellect and creativity was put into this Besides that it just looks awesome, I'm sure I'm complete a lot of the mystery will be wiped away. But in that process just creating more Idk what everyone was expecting with this. Ayu's astronaut jourmey to the moon? Another cheesy love story like days. I love the dark beauty that is shown so far. Lucky for me I cam appreciate and love certain things that many people just wave off as boring ^____^ Edit: seriously I can't wait for full. So much feels missing  (duh)

Omg. This little video made. My. Day. I LOVED it. It was brilliant--Ayu looked gorgeous, the setting was super dark and awesome, the ink dripping--gasp! The flashbacks tying into it all...it's like one big teaser right in my face... It makes me want to demand that someone leak the whole thing... So I will! LEAK NOW, DANGIT!!!!!
Gah, I just can't wait for the whole thing. I'm sure it'll just add to the awesomeness of this short edit

People need to calm down and stop being so negative. It isn't even the whole PV to begin with. When it was finally going to show something else it ended. I'm completely impatient for the full thing now, it made me even more anxious than before.

I really liked it. At first, it was a little jarring where the PV ended, but I think that is partially because this is the first time Ayu has ever released a shortened version of a PV before the single was released. That said, the atmosphere was really dark and beautiful, and it reaaalllly made me excited to see the whole version.
I really love the idea of everything being destroyed: the ink pouring on the paper, the candle blowing out, the cups and chair falling over and the glass breaking...it's like the room is living out the relationship described in the lyrics, or like Ayu is sitting in a room that's nothing more than a graveyard of memories from better days...or maybe worse days, depending on what those flashbacks turn out to be (what on earth is on her fingers?). It's short edit...for godness sake...what do you want...?
and i already like the short edit version the intro is so haunting, the candle, the ink...it's so symbolic..and make me want to know the meaning of it... and i really can't wait for the full version... the angle and editing is so nice...it's so artistic...

After seeing the short version, I think this might just be a good promotional idea from Ayu and avex. I know that the moment the full version (heck, even the lovely short version) of this PV is available on itunes US, I'll be buying it.

I think it's okay .... seems like it may not be as good as Don't Look Back (one of my fav recent pv's), but it's a short edit version. I'm sure there will be a lot more going on in the actual version of the pv ^^
