Nirvana, ACDC, and Metallica. XD They're my favourites, along with Korn and Slipknot. My friends really like Nirvana, and overall mostly everyone I know likes Nirvana, even if they don't like Rock Music. If you want to listen to Nirvana, you have to listen to "Come as You Are" and you'll fall in love with them XD As for ACDC and Metallica, I'm not sure, I'm not really big fans of them.

ooh ooh!! nice to see another rock/metal fan here!

looking at the list of bands you already listen to, i'd say give Distrubed a listen -- David Drainman (lead singer) has a voice to dye for!

I'd recommend you listen to the "Queen of the Damned" soundtrack - it has some great rock/metal songs

what about Marily Manson? he's got some pretty funky stuff too

do you like female-fronted metal bands? Nightwish are very similar to Sonata Arctica, but the lead singer is a female (or was -- they kicked her out and are in search of another lead singer).
If you're willing to give Nightwish a try, you might also like leaves eyes, within temptation, theatre of tragedy & lacuna coil

If you're willing to give german metal/industrial a try, I recommend Rammstein -- their stuff is brilliant. You might recognise Rammstein as the german band in the beginning of the xXx movie (with vin diesel). You'll find many of their fans (like me) don't even know a word of German. I can give you a fansite with very good english translations if you're interested.

Other good german bands include Eisbrecher, Megahertz and oomph!

hopefully i was of some help. if you'd like recommendations of which songs from any of the artists i've mentioned, just let me know

Breaking Benjamin and Flyleaf are two artists that I found recently who make pretty good music of this style. I haven't listened to them much but I decided to keep the albums after I downloaded them, heh.

Incubus are great, I'd like to recommend you Sum41 aswell.

I think that Sum41, Nightwish and Sonata Arctica is basically the artists I listened to the most, if you look away from my recent Ayu craze.

System of a Down, they are all Armenian...like me

Nightwish reminds of of Onmyouza a bit, but they are good. Nirvana is awesome.

You might like Twisted Method if you are into a "younger" type of music, lyrically speaking. They are on the tad bit emo IMO, but you might want to give them a shot.

Alexisonfire. They're hardcore (I guess) and really good.

I'll probably have more when I look through my CDs/mp3s.

And what about all the good bands?

My Bloody Valentine, Explosions in the Sky, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Galaxie 500, Envy, Saetia, Amanda Woodward, Neutral Milk Hotel, Gaji, Mono, (old) Boredoms, Sonic Youth, Orange Juice, Band of Horses, Refused, etcetera. Goes all over the map, btw, from shoegaze and post-rock through post-punk and screamo to indie and no wave.

Highly recommended. There's tons more, but you should just start somewhere.

Eh? Scream-o? I guess there's Underoath. Their "They're Only Chasing Safety" album is great.

(Simple Plan is so not... hard rock... They're emo to the max. Crappy emo. [IMO] Unless there's another band called Simple Plan, but I doubt it.)

Their only really good song, I think, is Basked Case.

Oh yes. Basketcase is the best song Greenday's ever done. The rest of their stuff I rather don't care for.
