Ayu x Kylie x Madonna

This is kind of stupid but I just realized, three Queens of pop music were all born decades apart. Madonna first in '58, then Kylie in '68, and then Ayumi in '78. I just find that so awesome considering they pretty much rule the music scene in their own country/region. Just thought I'd share.

It depends on the person... The Australian media calls her that alot so does the European media including the UK. You can even see in live performances on YT, people introduce her as the Queen of pop, or in the Fever era "the undisputed Qop" (I believe Baby Spice said that once at an awards show ). I see many Americans in forums call her the Queen of Euro Pop. There is no real answer.

However on a global scale I'd bet tht most people refer to Madonna as the Queen, Kylie as the Princess, and Ayu as irrelavent.

Really? A lot of you don't see Kylie as a Queen? I mean she hasn't sold well in the US but in the UK and Australia, she's really popular. I think the definition of like a queen of music is someone who can change their music style and image to keep people guessing, to keep them wanting more and to keep them buying. That's what Kylie, Madonna and Ayu do. I mean Kylie just got over breast cancer about a year ago and she's already spit out an album that's been really successful and is creating a tour where in the UK tickets for eight shows sold out in only 30 minutes. There's no doubt she's a queen.

That's the thing. There can be only 1 Queen of 1 thing. Ayu is Queen of J-Pop (For arguments sake ), Madonna is Queen of Pop.
Plus, X got very mixed reviews and only got Number 1 in Australia. The sales are rather average. She doesn't have the ingenuity to be Queen Of Pop.
