Ahhh, I completely forgot about this thread! Not to mention I have no life now that I'm back home.

I have to say I'm impressed by the single. Garakuta isn't my fave ballad, that's for Shiroi Machi XD But I LOVE 1+1=2. Not as great as Dragon or Hikari (which have 245 plays in my iTunes EACH), but still awesome nonetheless.

Updating the first post.

By the way, I'll be updating the download thread as well. Keep your eyes peeled.

^ Yep, I do, but I can't share them. Kinda odd, but you can only get them if you join the Zwei LJ community. o.o

Any other views on Zwei lately?

IT RISES FROM THE DEAD. >O

Anyway, shame on Kyah for not posting this earlier:

NEW SINGLE coming on the 28th of May. (I lol at how "early" they announce their stuff)

DISTANCE:

1. DISTANCE
2. Koe (Voice)
3. DISTANCE (Instrumental)
4. Koe (Instrumental)

No single/promo images yet.

Also, fun fact, both song lyrics were written by Zwei themselves. Hooyah. I don't know whether to be scared or not, considering their personalities. XD

For some reason I keep thinking bot songs are going to be ballads. x.x I hope they prove me wrong - their upbeat songs are always the best. I just hope for something better than 1+1=2. (Which isn't bad at all, but far from their strongest)

^And that person should get kisses, because this PV is amazing. D=

...and I didn't even think this single would get a PV. XD

...and now I am reminded that 1+1=2 PV STILL never leaked.

I may be crazy, but it's a happy crazy. =D

It's true their music is slightly more mainstreamish, but honestly DISTANCE is vaguely FAKE FACEesque, and I really like that song so this one suits me just fine. The preview for Koe sounds more punkish and interesting but I like how mellow this song is. I like it a lot better than 1+1=2 when it came out, which I still sometimes don't think sounds too good. So really I didn't have much hopes for this single.

And I only like the PV for the subtext. *COUGH*

So, what did you guys think of the single? I love the b-side a lot more than the a-side. Ahaha, I hope they have a new album coming out this year. I just love their music.

Apparently Zwei has left Universal (WOOOOO) and is now back on the indies circuit. Hopefully this means we can see ACTUAL ACTIVITY from them in the future.

Not an official release from them, but Ayumu just recently did an opening theme for some anime/game that is REALLY awesome. =D

I can't complain too much...75 percent of what makes me love them so much is Ayumu's voice so there you go.

DRIVE BY RESURRECTION.

The first song was included on a soundtrack single, and the second (along with its bside "Forever More" which I couldn't find a YT vid of) is their latest single. I'm too lazy to write more than that right now.

It looks like Zwei will be making their American debut at Anime Matsuri later this month. Due to the current sexual harassment allegations and lawsuits against the con head, people have been reaching out to Ayumu and Megu about it. Here's a post about it on Facebook. It looks like Zwei will still be performing at Anime Matsuri, but I don't know how well that'll go. Past Japanese guests at Anime Matsuri haven't received translators, or didn't even get paid.
