glitter is wow summer song, no doubt in that.
The lyrics are cool, summerish and ayuish as well!
I love all what wrapped inside, I just rave into it.
fated is quite amazing ballad, I think the composer is brilliant.
ayu's voice is wow.

moreover,if u listen to the song thru' iPod..
oh my god..the voice's really into you, at least for me~

we can't never expect ayu to write something according to the our demand..
just let ayu chooses what's the best for her..

So now it's a crime to complain about Ayu's song? Not everyone enjoy this new release and you just have to deal with it. We can't be all happy, jumping jumping , and yelling like an obsessed fan when listening to a song.
If we think it's crap, then we will think it is until she did a live, video, w/e to make the song grow on us. If you don't, then just be happy about it because you're one of the person who can still enjoy it.
We compliment a song when a song is good. We complaint a song when we are disappointed with the song. Or is it on one of AHS Rules & Guidelines that we are not allowed to drop negative comments in this forum?

Until now anyone voiced his opinion.

Though if someone post here while he hates any ayu song, or not like at all her recent releases... than why should they post here it all if all they gotta do is complain about ayu's songs? it's no better.

It's like I will go to a hikki forum and complain about everything she does.
Or everything she did on recent years. So why should I go there at all? I don't like her I wouldn't go to complain about her songs because I don't like them or say that I like her stuff.
But that's just an example... I love hikki ^_^.

IMO, there's not meaning in coming into a thread like this only to say:
"I hate this song, kthxbye. Ayu, your music sucks now."

It ruins the mood for everyone who does love the song. If you are going to be vocal about disliking the song, then say why. Explain points that make it "bad" to you [bad chorus, too synthy, needs more depth and so on] instead of just saying that it's terrible. It might be possible that someone who does like the song like crazy would think the same way (i.e me). Maybe it's just me, but the world / this forum would be a better place if people could keep feelings like that to themselves. :| At least, about the singer that this forum is named after. :|

Well, not sure about the others, but I think I did explain why I don't like the songs. Well, this would be a spamming board and praising shrine if everyone have to compliment and enjoy the song, not a discussion board.

I agree that there is no point if someone just go "I hate this song, kthxbye. Ayu, your music sucks now." on an Ayu forum. But it is even more pointless if someone forced everyone to drop only the good comments and leave away the negative comments.

I think this kind of thread can give others who have no idea what the song is like. To hear if this song is bad, or the song is good. It is quite misleading when you read all flowery comments just to find that the song don't live up to your expectations after reading those comments.

If you want us to keep the negative comments to ourselves, don't make "thoughts: glitter/fated" thread. Make "worship/praise/compliment/love: glitter/fated".

I love glitter a lot, and especially the part in the chorus when she goes " yeah yeah"

But one thing that bothers me- the repeated lyrics in the verse after the first chorus. It just... bothers me. It's weird to hear the same lyrics. Kanashii toki ni somethingsomethingsomething x 2.

Fated reminds me a lot of Secret, but that's fine with me since I think this is the direction that she is moving towards. Fated is no doubt, very emotional and well suited for the movie. Ayu's voice is also amazing. I was blown away when i listened using earphones.

Can't wait for the covers and the short film!

I don't like it in the ZOMG NO WAY BEST SINGLE SINCE YEARS I LOVE IT because I'm disappointed for all this year waiting, I really don't find this single original at all o.o
BLUE BIRD's chorus is like x10000 better than the glitter's one, I just don't like this song, one of the WORST songs I've heard since ... I don't know! Maybe because it's this popish~ I don't like too much ?The chorus really reminds me somehow ANGEL'S SONG.
The thing I only like is the instrumental part that is awesome <3 But the chorus...
fated has the same chorus as part of Me, only difference is that fated's one keep constant while part of Me's chorus goes UP little by little~
Maybe it seems more emotional, the instrumental is beautiful, it's my favourite on the single but I still prefer part of Me (not that I don't like it).
fated seems to be a good song, but is hard to grow on me, I find it less "open" to people than Will or part of Me, and we can't just say I like it/I hate it from the first listening since it's a little complicated song for me~

I just don't find this single special, shouldn't I complain after 1 year ?

I want somewhere ppl expect Ayu do do a SURREAL bcuz SURREAL is a genre not a song.

And I want some place where ppl don't say something like this:

It's true, that if someone doesn't like glitter/fated that much she/he should probably go away and leave that thread be, because history showed us that it'll explode and everybody starts complaining about this comment and that comment.

It's human nature to do such things. We people are stupid creatures, period. Ranting and complaing lies in our DNA. I, myself, don't exclude me. But know what, that's the good thing about forums or discussion threads, to discuss things you have on your mind.

hmm well ... I don't think so .... even after I thought about that comment a long time and that you may be right ... these depressive songs about first love and that stuff is meant to be for the wide spectrum of teenagers who, and we all have to admit that, are most of their time depressive after the first love or the first time [did she made a song about that??]. The identification is bigger than in glitter e.g. .

And the stuff about a personal break down I said posts ago. I found a proof that it really works for the creativity. Look at Mariah Carey. I don't like her personally but she made it after her worst album ever. The Emancipation of Mimi sold 10,000,000 copies. And before that she had a big break down and even considered not doing musc for the rest of her life.

I don't say that glitter-ish sounds don't work at the chart's, [look at Dragostea Din Tei by, O-Zone, well it was about love and tree but most of us didn't even understand a word and it still became a huge hit around the world, even in Japan], but they don't work for people who are listening to the lyrics and not to the sound only. Well, at least not for a long period.

And just to make it clear. After days of listening to glitter and fated ... glitter became my favorite summer single. just wanted to add that in case well ... just like that. lol [yeah I'm a crazy person]

And now a big GGGGGGGLLLLLLLLITTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR shout out to all those sun-addictes like myself. lol

Think the situation is you overheard your auntie bashing your mom and here you like Ayu when some guys said she is the suckiest artist in the world.
