Thoughts on 'glitter' PV

PV is out.

Here are some pictures to tide you over for now:



Right now, the PV really seems to be story-driven rather than music-driven. It seems like the music doesn't really fit the video. There's a LOT of pause-shots and fade-ins/fade-outs.. :O

The PV within the PV-idea is kinda funky, but it fits, since that whole accident happens in the middle of it D:

In the end, Ayu seems kinda cold and "gtfo of my life" D:~ But I guess that probably had to do with the fact that they weren't really supposed to be together..

I think that fated would fit better in certain scenes.

i thought it was a great PV! the scenes they used were dramatic, kind of, and ayumi looked beautiful throughout the whole video. the PV makes me like the song much better now. i've really enjoyed it!

I really liked the beginning. The way it would pause on a scene all quick and be like... "BOOM" and then fade to black. =D

I'm actually a little disappointed. Perhaps I'll change my mind when I can watch "Distance Love" in full, but I felt very disconnected from this video.

The music felt very seperated from the scenes themselves. They just didn't really flow together. Don't get me wrong; the story is lovely and all, but it feels awkward and "thrown together" placed with glitter, a track that has a completely different energy.

I wonder if this is just selected pieces of the first half of the movie with glitter..


I mean, what goes between the two songs?

I do agree they have different energy, but somehow ... It just fits to me. I don't know why.

I'm not sure if I'm digging it yet... I probably will after a few more plays. The story is adorable... but I don't think it fits the song. Same as Love Appears, I'll see if I like it better when Distance Love is shown in full.

I hope the unconventional video won't effect the popularity of the song, because I think it totally deserves to be huge! But then again, this was Ayu's vision, because we all know she does only what she likes, and if this is how she wanted to express the song than cheers to her for being an amazing artist!

SURELY THIS IS A MONTAGE (collage) OF THE SHORT MOVIE...(like the Voyage pv)
that's mean they won't to release the short movie on TV
.. and sure no PV for fated on air because they can't make another similar montage for "fated" tv-pv



..
