Ai Otsuka || Planetarium vs Renai Shashin : Which is superior?

Many people have liked Renai Shashin as Ai's ballad single of 2006 just like Planetarium was Ai's ballad single in 2005.

So in terms of the song only, which is better?
Also, it would be good if you guys refrain from choosing the 3rd option!

I think there's been enough time for people to listen to Renai Shashin to decide....

As for me, I will give Planetarium a vote. I love that song since the first day that I listened! And today is always one of my favourite songs.

It's very hard choice for me cuz I really like both songs.

But I voted for Planetarium instead.

Somehow this was the first song that made me wanna listen more of her cuz during that time I thought she's really good at ballads.

Although I HATE Ai OTsuka overall, I thought planetarium was ok so I voted for it.

Planetarium, hands down. As lovely as Renai Shashin is, its lyrics are not as complex nor as insightful and poignant as Planetarium's are. Also, the composition for Planetarium is more varied; I think the flute + soft drums incorporation is beautiful! Also, regarding vocals...I think at times in Renai Shashin Ai sounds a bit too sharp, whereas she sounds better in Planetarium.

I love Planetarium, but I really have a soft spot for Renai Shashin. I love how understated it is compared to Planetarium, and I think it's just such a sweet song ;-; I love the arrangement too, it's like a soothing lullaby~

So yeah, I'll be in the minority and pick Renai Shashin ._.
