Don't you miss it?

So since yesterday I slightly rekindled my love for Ayu because I was checking things out about her and such, and then I realized that I missed how I used to learn something new about Ayu each day, whether it was listening to a new song to facts about her life and now it's just like... freak girl... release something new! Or COME OUT ALREADY YOU STUPID DVD! Now I feel like dropping all Ayu things for a while and coming back like an year later or something. *sigh* Newbie Ayu fan days were the best weren't they? (I've only been a fan for 2 years too!~ It's ridiculous D: ) I wish I could get them baaack~ (I miss the day when I first heard Evolution Dx )

i can understand that...i felt that way too. also for me, i spent a long long time trying to accumulate all of her different remixes and seeing all ther videos and what not. then one day i realized that i'd finally done it...and i felt like there wasn't anything else to find. eh, but thats how it goes.

LOL I know how that is xD
I've only been a fan of hers for only about a year and a half.
I know all her of her songs through and through...
But I want new material from her already though >.<
I'm itching to know what the new single is going to be called :O

Been an actual fan since right before fairyland's release. I remember how mysterious and amazing she seemed back then... I would spend hours looking at her videos and reading up on her. I also spent hours checking out the overall attitude and personality of her fandom.

Now? I pretty much know everything, and have seen and heard almost all her stuff available. Not much else to do but wait.

However, since I got done learning about her, I've been checking out numerous other music makers. =D Back when I was new to Ayu, it took me months to learn about artists. Now it takes less than 48 hours for me to feel like I've been part of a random artist's fandom for years. ... D:

I've been a fan since 2001. At the time, the music that was circulating most was from LOVEppears & Duty. And I remember blasting my meager 10-song Ayu collection (among which, I believe, were evolution, vogue, WHATEVER "version J", End roll, AUDIENCE, Boys & Girls, Fly high, immature, girlish, and SEASONS) as I sat out on my front porch that spring. It was an exciting new world to discover, and I loved each new song after the next.

By the time Memorial address was released, though, I had run out of "new" stuff to discover, and started just waiting... waiting... waiting for each new single. Not nearly as exciting.

D'aww this reminds me of when I first got into ayu...it was when "M" was released and I fell in love with that song! I remember reading the translation and being amazed that "Japanese singers write like this?!". I had a crappy computer back then and downloading that music video was a big step up for me haha. Buuut she had me sold and I hunted down every single little remix and original tracks she had on kazaa xD. Those were the days...!! She's not magical anymore, but she was my idol throughout my middleschool and highschool years, so I can never just turn my back on her stuff haha.

i'm still always excited, and i've been a fan for years. I don't know,......she's the only artist where I get so excited at the thought of a new song.... That's when you know he or she is your favorite singer

I used to get REALLY excited over Ayu. It's not so much that I'm not impressed by her anymore, I just don't get hyped up anymore. I do kind of miss it though.

I got into Ayu in late 2004 or early 2005 by Dearest. Back then when I checked the year it was released I was like "She probably is'nt even active no more", but I was wrong, so I do get hyped now.

I'm not hyped right now, but I'll get into it soon
(when they release a preview of Tw... + album covers + new pv info.)

I know how everyone feels. I've been an "in-n-out" fan since SEASONS, but I wasn't "Hardcore" until around MY STORY. Then I began reading up everything, trying to sample everything, but after I was done, it became boring... since like everyone else, you're just waiting for new information... new songs, new albums... may be a new interview...

That's how I rekindled my love for H!P. I realized that Ayumi was already done, and I remember how much I loved "LOVE Machine", "I WISH", and "Happy Summer Wedding" when it came out, so I decided to re-research them. Only after that did I realize how extensive and fun the H!P world is.

i think about this ALL the time! i've heard every official song possible, seen every official PV, concert, etc. i know everything there is to know about her as well. i miss when ayu was still new to me it was SO much more fun hahaha. listen to a song nonstop becuz i first heard it and stuff like that. hunting for her music videos (at the time i started liking ayu, i had no clue how to use bittorrent and youtube wasnt around/i didnt know about it--the big thing at that time was hing HJSplit and joining files together after downloading them in pieces via yahoo briefcase!!!! a la ayu-tv.com hahahahaha does anyone else remember HJSplit!?)

I'm a relatively new fan of hers. I got converted last year with the release of BLUE BIRD.

Yeah I know what you mean. I used to be like a Ayu fiend back in the day... 2002... but around 2006, I started to listen to other artists more than Ayu. I used to be like a fiend, like I used to buy everything with her face on it. But now, I'm still a fan, but not a fiend, lolz. I do miss her Memorial address aura, =-/

But the point of liking Ayu and being her fan is to support her! So even when you stop learning and obsessing about everything Ayu, because you've learned and obsessed over everything, you shouldn't become bored. Ha ha, even now, when I hear new stuff about Ayu, even though it's not as much as before, I can be satisfied.

Hee hee, who wants to be a newbie anyhow?

Same here too. Well, sort of. I do get excited for each releases. But I always have high expectations and lately, Ayu haven't been able to deliver anything really impressive. So I get less hyped up about her.

I don't go "Gosh! When is she going to release that damn DVD!". LOL. I don't go crazy over it.

But I agree that it was very great when I just discovered her. And how I discovered all of her older songs and the new ones. And facts about her life. Good old days.
