I'm not really expecting anything big and NEW from Utada Hikaru for her 10th Anniversary, besides "HEART STATION" of course. I mean we at least got an Album which is never a sure thing each year with Utada. Just making sure that she got an Album out for her 10th Year Anniversary may have been the extent of Utada's intentions for any kind of 10th Year Anniversary Celebration.

I wouldn't mind a complete DVD Compilation Set containing all of her Music Videos though.

That Automatic free ringtone (and First Love as well rite?) was not the actual celebration of her 10th yr anniversary. It's the celebration of START ENTERING (or stepping forward to?) the 10th anniversary. That is different. If she's not doing anything for the actual 10th year anniversary, I will definitely slap her, her dad, and the people at EMI. Not that she's not doing anything for us, but it's a major day for herself , so I'm expecting her to be celebrating, not hiding herself with Kuma Chang..

Regardless, I'm more than satisfied with HEART STATION, so if that's her tenth anniversary "thing," I'm grateful.

I dunno. HEART STATION is a wonderful album and one of the best of the year. But it's her 10th anniversary so it should be something more celebratory than an album. Sure Hikki doesn't put out an album every year but it's not like it's something sooo new from her. Having an English album out this year as well as a Japanese album would be a great treat for her American fans who may not be able to get her Japanese stuff / the people who wanna hear stuff in English. It would be kind of like her two worlds coming togehter for 1 year if that makes any sense lol.

According to wiki.theppn HEART STATION got #18 this week with 14, 327 copies sold which brings it to a total of 925, 217 copies!

POL got #17 and sold 7, 824 copes bringing it to 61, 015 copies sold. (:

I would say she'll be able to do another 10K this week [and then another 10K if we're lucky - isn't the last episode of Last Friends in 2 weeks?] which gets her to roughly 950K and then she'll sell her way to the million by the end of the year.

After UB stopped selling 20k per week it still sold like 90k, so HS definitely should be able to.

HEART STATION must sell a million! I demand it!

I hope consumers don't forget about the album once summer hits. That Celebrate remix thing better be super good. If only there were more commercial tie-ins! A part of me keeps saying that 50K by the end of the year may not be possible, that she'll sell close but short of a million.

I'm seeing this album as a Black Cherry case now. =/ If it continues to sell at 10k for the next few weeks (if possible) then it'll hit the million mark but barely. I wonder if reruns of LF will run. If so, it'll prolly continue helping the album out even though it's old episodes.
