The contestant does sound good, I really like the Chinese parts. and um when does this new H!P member show end..it seems like it's been going on forever.

WHile I Agree that furusato is not a recent ballad, I don't really like this new ballad. It's nice, but very cheese and predictable both the melody and the arrangements, kind of like that dangerous ass song. It's listenable, but lacking. Tsunku can do good ballads (LOVE, sakura mankai, samidare koi uta (was amazing) + some of the stuff from solo works. DId he write takaranmono? edit: apparently not. SHould've known, not his style..), but it rarely comes out in H!P... I think the most "recent" H!P ballad I really liked was that zutto matsuura song and he didn't even write that...

Of course, H!P has many songs that are balladishy, but often the arrangements are too quick or perky to make them sound more of a pop songs than "ballads".

I can't stop humming "Pepper Keibu"! The song is so addictive! I've been humming it all day long along with BoA's "Eat You Up".

I like the PV it's very entertaining for bing so simple. =)

I also like that I get the "old time" feeling of one MM with a blend of voices with this one.

Anothr strange thing is that even if wonky Reina is being pimped on the cover, it's still like Ai's EVERYWHERE in the song, also in the PV: Not that I really mind. I wondr if this is just mixed like that and the CD rip wil sounds different but I swear I hear her voice all the time.

^ Well it's kinda obvious that Ai gets more lines. She always does. Reina was the only one with solo lines (minus Sayu's line). There was more Ai shoots in the PV, that's true. (I would've preferred more Eri! She was the hottest in the PV!) But Sayu's "Pepper keibu yo!" was definitely the highlight of the PV. She was so cute!

I didn't say it wasn't MM's song. Unless the Chinese comment threw you off..I think there was Chinese in that version unless I'm going deaf.
