AC deserves to sell alot! more than one million by itself!! I mean, without thinking in A BEST 2 and nothing, this compilation have material to deserve more... but it's true that the fact that A BEST 2 was last year make AC sell less... but this doesn't mean that AC don't deserves to sell more than what is doing now...

i think this release is a good release to have--but i mean, if people have both a best and a best 2, then really....why this? for one song nd a photobook--that is only for first press? i think first press is good and bad. it generaly has higher first day sales--but when the first press runs out and thats all it has going for it, then there is no more appeal to buying it. i mean im glad i bought this and i think its great--but that doesnt mean it "deserves" anything...

^Well it has the a-nation and TA Live on the DVD and this collection has all the singles, A BEST 2 didn't. Who... 10th anniversary isn't the only extra song you get if you got A BEST 2.

I just really wish Avex had held off on A BEST 2 and just stuck with this. It'd be selling so much more, I think. Maybe not though..

but I'm still really happy with the sales thus far!

- 15 main first a-sides that weren't on any of the compilations
- DVD with unreleased footages
- Photobook with unreleased single covers for first press
- Great packaging deluxe box for first press
- Good Pricing

A BEST and A BEST 2 had nothing of the listed above.

Just a great release for a 10th anniversary.
Of course that some people might no be interested in it (or the 15 songs or DVD footages and photobook) or everything and that's why they don't like it.

BTW AC's first press on CDJapan is over XD

tomorrow definitely the sales will rise up, so no need to worry, AC will pass 500k+ at the end of the week.

It's sad that A COMPLETE is dropping so rapidly, even if that's her sales trend.

That none of those songs have ever been on a compilation before? That there are two new very good songs with good PVs? That many people never bothered to buy any of the songs on the album when they originally came out? That the packaging is very bright and eye catching?

that plus the fact that Namie has entered her 2nd peak, while Ayu's not the poppiest jArtist atm.

Sales are pretty good. Honestly I don't think it will sell high...

I don't like that A Complete VS Best Fiction thing... These compilations were released because of different reasons: Ayu's - because of her 10th anniversary and Namie's because of her popularity right now (that's why its sales are huge).

Not at all probably. Most likely, she get's a fixed sum from the contract and subsequent royalties and she's a solo act so she doesn't share with anyone as the recording artiste. I'll be honest i was dismayed with friday's sales. Tuesday gave me a high but now, i'm kinda feeling deflated. I wasn't expecting this downward spiral and one more thing. Maybe i'm wrong but some people seem oddly satisfied that A Complete is not selling that well. Erm, aren't we all ayu fans here? Even if A Complete doesn't deserve it, wouldn't you be happier if it were selling well than if it wasn't?
