I completely agree with you, Tom Punks, he has said many disrespectful things about her and he is in no position to say things like this to you!

I think Kumi's sales will be better than TABOO's, considering this is a ballad single, but since that other band sells so much she won't get #1! I think higher sales are better than chart positions, though. Some of Kumi's best-selling singles never reached #1.

NEWAY, #1 isnt that big of a deal, because it really depends on what`s being released that week.
I remember earlier in January AAA got #1 selling like, 25k. How pathetic!

I think TABOO should have sold WAY more copies than it did, as I consider it one of the best songs of this year.
Anyway, another #1 would be nice, but maybe, instead of hitting #1 in its first week, it'll be really popular and chart for a long time?

It makes me wonder why Princess Sohee's posting here in the 1st place where he's just making pratically everyone annoyed on what he wrote too

I hope at least for stay with me's case , it can sell a bit better than TABOO , I'm still sad that TABOO didn't sell as much as I hope for as this's really 1 of the best singles that she has put out in her career & also on what I came across this year too

Based on "TABOO"'s sales and Kumi's appearingly declining relevance, I'm not expecting any spectacular sales from "Stay With Me".

even though her sales are declining, she's still very relevant. she's done a ton of special lives this year, had a sell-out tour that needed extra dates and has been in a ton of magazines. just because her sales weren't what they were in 2006 doesn't mean she's some obscure artist.

I didn't say she wasn't relevant or that she was some obscure artist. I said her relevance seems to be DECLINING. I was also referencing to her scandal as well when I said that. I just didn't want to bring that back up specifically. I mean, her "Kingdom" Album sales immediately halted and if her sales from here on out continue to be consistently low for her previous standards, then she may just become irrelevant. And then she may come back like Namie Amuro did. We'll just have to see how everything else pans out for her.

Kingdom still sold well, but it would have probably had more success than Black Cherry if
it had been promoted properly.
Kuu has a long way to go before she'll be able to claim "Best Selling Artist of the Year" again.

I guess because of the scandal , it really affected Kingdom's sales as avex cancelled all promotions on the album as a form of consolation to this matter which frankly sucks

I think the album would have sold more had it not for this unfortunate incident

& erm I don't think she's able to claim "Best Selling Artist of the Year" title again since she already have done so 2 years back to back already (for 2006 & last year)
