So far I can say that I LOVE the music at the end of the preview. "Rule" sounds truely promising so far. I hope it will stay as rock as it can be.
And hopefully the arrangement won't be too repetitive, like some HAL arrangements can be these days.

I dun think there is any similarity.

Rule is a very rock-ish ballad...Good thing Dragon ball used this song! Fits perfectly!

I never excited such a heavy bass beat song O.O that's why its very cool...the beat is stronger than in Sparkle (and IT already has an amazing beat).

The lines of the chorus are really short unlike Sparkle as well...(LOTS of differences between the two...)
Sparkle's chorus makes u seem to enter some cybernetic world but Rule's chorus is more attitude and short and quick..

I don't need to compare the styles...its totally different.

anyway, if u compare both previews quality-wise...Rule's PV is lower in quality...u cant compare her vocals based on that but yes, her vocals sound lower AND muffled..(Sparkle's vocals are SOOO LOVEppears/RAINBOW era)...and at this point, Sparkle sounds CLEANER...

Really looking forward to it!!! It's gonna be an attitude song..and Ayu will carry that very well...And it sounds different from her usual..or any of her rock songs..
and yes, I do feel the dragonball action vibe..

wow. that is a v good analysis u made.. the styles of the two songs are really different. but they are jus v rockish to me. =)

That's what I was thinking, well, apart from the Marionette part.

The new album is sounding pretty damn promising at the moment. All she needs to do is not overload the album with interludes and, as you said, not have any cutesy over-happy songs. They just take you out of the album flow completley...
