so i just now watched the new AU CM. i seriously love "everything" so far! why can't they release it as a single! i dunno what they plan to do with all these unreleased songs (green, season, and everything) anyway, aiba and sho were really cute together, haha. i love the ending. typical aiba screaming

edit: i just read that now arashi are at #2 on the 2009 singles chart (with #1 being "believe") is that really true?

& i think you should be proud of their sales, Lisa. i mean, no one else right now can get the sales they have! i'm just proud "RESCUE" sold more than "ONE DROP".

haha i'm proud! but the sales confuse me, so i'm not always sure if the current sales are good or not but i really am proud! now i wonder what will be next. i seriously hope there is some way that "everything" can be released. i keep playing the new CM just to hear the song.

basically, anything over 300k is considered amazing nowadays, LOL. singles aren't selling well anymore. even albums too.

but i think this year will be the lowest for singles yet (besides Arashi). & i don't see any other future releases selling well either.

so far there's only 1 million selling album in the form of Mr Children. Supermarket Fantasy

singles wise , Believe / KNK's leading with 600K+ , same scenerio as last year more or less except this year , you only have 1 million selling album as compared to last year which's 4

so yes if you clear 200K & above for a single , it's already considered damn good

yup as expected it's not able to cross 500K in the 1st week just like what Believe / Kumori Nochi , Kaisei but it's ok because it still has done wonderfully well & Everything will be released in exactly a month's time @_@

I heard Everything and it sounds like a song I might not enjoy. Maybe my mind will change when I hear the full version.

On another note, congratulations to them for getting another #1 single and taking 1st and 2nd on the yearly charts. I doubt anyone is going to outsell them, but I might be wrong so you never know. Anyone think that they'll have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd on the yearly chart when Everything is released?

Kolongi;; I don't see why we should be upset? s At least we get new music every few months. And it's not like they're forgetting about albums. I think Everything (or there may be one more after it) considering their 10th Anniversary is in November. I expect a best album then - and maybe even a studio album. But that's just my hopes + dreams~

Arashi could release 10 singles before releasing an album, but they're on a peak. So many singles could boost their popularity, but it could also ruin it. It would probably be better to release an album or a digital single.

I think it's a smart idea. They're capitalizing on their popularity right now. And Johnny's has always been strong single sellers. It's a good way to get money quick for them and then when an album is due to be dropped, there'll be enough interest in them that sales will be better (hopefully~).

tbh, Arashi's fangirls don't have it really bad. I think I agree with Irene because KAT-TUN has had a lot. They've already had two single this year, an album, a week + a day long tour, and now a photobook coming out (an expensive one!!). I definitely think they have it worse. lol Singles are what - 10 bucks?
