a bit off topic Eirynne but do you remember how KinKi Kids's 39 compilation album sold ?

I know it was released 2 years ago & it went up to #1 but where were the sales like ?

that might give a rough gauge of sorts on how All the BEST might fare

yeah, but KinKi Kids didn't have the hype that Arashi does now during their 10th (they were amazingly famous from debut, like KAT-TUN). "39" sold around 450k, i think?! that's from off the top of my head, though.

KinKi Kids have an album or 2 that crossed the million marker though. i think it was "A Album" & "KinKi Kids Single Selection".

but SMAP is the motherload of JE. hahaha.

that's if it can suppress SMAP's greatest hits sales since SMAP's the best selling Johnny's boyband of all time (with 30 million + copies worth of material sold since their debut)

yeah their NINKI index's awesome but it doesn't mean that it will sell what the NINKI no. stated

if it's true that All the BEST ! can sell that kinda amount within a week , they will have a triple home run in the Oricon chart since they currently have the yearly #1 spot for the single & DVD charts
