if I choose the third payment method, do I need to have a friend in Japan who picks up the tickets? Or can I pay them via tenso, and then they will ship them to my tenso address and they can ship them to me?

No, you can just have them send it to your tenso address, then let tenso ship it to you. However, I am not very sure if tenso services allow you to pay through them, you will have to confirm with tenso before trying, yep!!
