"monochrome" has been my no.1 favorite Ayu song since the first time I've heard it.
It's overrated because: 1. Ayu's vocal is irritating. (I believe there are plenty of people in here who hates her old voice.) 2. It's a forgotten song. 3. of the ending. It's a song that is perfect-but-imperfect.

^ I agree with this. I'd always just assumed the appears meant... something revealing itself. That usage of the word. I don't know why. I think the appearance, of how something is perceived, usage fits more though.
Or maybe it's both. That's why I love this album.  It took me a long time to realise that the ending to monochrome was intentional, I prefer the ending on the single to the ending on the one on the album.

yeah, I thought she had forgotten her old songs, but then I saw PREMIUM COUNTDOWN LIVE 2008-2009 A and that was so much great!! she even sang Hana and SIGNAL!!
so monochrome is not that underrated uctually )
