I don't get it. Why......it's a disaster waiting to happen. I don't like the idea that this pseudo-rivalry can potentially tear down everything AKB has accomplished, especially since that old bastard holds all the power in his hands.
 Way to epitomize greed. What about the group?

 I kind of wish that were true, although all hopes of that are kind of out the window since they're actually holding auditions for these girls and there's even an application form on their website. Or maybe it's all just to make it appear legit

Anyway, I don't understand why they need another group. Why can't NMB48 or HTK48 or SKE48 (who is doing super well) be their rivals? |

^ Thanks! I only saw part of it before. I'm actually pretty impressed. The video's cool (albeit kind of low budget), but the song's good. It's very SKE, but that's not a bad thing.

But SKE is the original sister group of AKB. It wouldn't make sense to just declare them rivals. Plus the point of this '46' group being rivals is because they will both be based in Tokyo and competing against each other directly.
HKT48 is a new group in Fukuoka that's having auditions right now. |

^ Ahhh, gotcha. That makes sense then. Btw, my copy of AKB ga Ippai on Blu-Ray arrived yesterday. I absolutely flipped my **** when I saw it in the mailbox. I got Yuko, Kojiharu, and Sae's photos. The whole package is SO amazingly cool/gorgeous/I can't handle it. I can take pictures if anyone wants to see.
