This, and that she hangs out with that Leslie Kee too much lately. I don't like him. He's having bad influence on Ayu. And he's ugly. (to think of it, mostly just because he's ugly )

I must say that I deleted my post. First of all because I am not a troll posting those kindof things to see others reactions. I patiently read your replies and felt quite ashamed. I remembered the beginnings of my ayu fandom on 2008 and I felt so bad of thinking that about Ayu. For different reasons this year has been disappointing for my Ayu fandom and maybe I said something I shouldnt. Anyway, I dont like her husband at all, but knowing Ayu she only could have married him for love

I think you've just demonstrated your maturity admitting you've maybe dared too much with your claim. Anyway I think that reactions like yours take root in disappointment and disappointement takes root in love (and fandom in this case).
If we're not interested in something we don't feel anything instead disappointment is a real feeling.

How could I forget Sunrise/Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~'s covers. Those were her first REALLY bad covers in a long, long time.

Disappointments..well, I've been a fan since 2005, so I've seen a few of her eras at least. I guess I'm most disappointed by the lack of quality in her remixes in the last few years, and Acoustic Orchestra versions. The more recent ones, although still pretty, just cannot compare with older mixes, especially the Acoustic Orchestra. I think an exception to this is the LOWBROWS remix of Microphone, for me anyway.

However, I'm happy she still includes these different versions. I would of thought AVEX would of cut them out entirely by now.

I guess other things would just be nitpicking..the S/S covers, as other people have said, just because she looked so beautiful in Bali and then those were the covers that were released. I'd love to see the outtakes from that photoshoot, lol~ Uhm, other things I guess...I guess just that Ayumi seems to cling onto the same composers and staff for as long as possible. It's good that she seems to get along with them and have a good relationship with them all, but the end result is a lot of her songs sounding similar in her latest works since..2008..? eh

And not Ayumi specifically, but I was really disappointed, and still am, with the Ayu fandom when she got married lol
For years they were all "I want her to be happy! To be married, settle down.." but as soon as it happened some people went ballistic..crazy.

For a twelve year career, having only these 'disappointments' is quite impressive. To those saying this thread is depressing, I think it's not really, and I'm really happy it's not dissolved into drama yet I do appreciate Ayu's highs more than her lows..there's a thread recently concentrating on her positively, so I'm gonna go look at that now

I believe that usually you cannot have so much quantity with high quality combined...so i agree, i would prefer less remixes, less orchestral, less releases but well projected and studied as once were.

Anyway the photoshopped pic posted by artcika shocked me, she didn't absolutely need this..I wanna add this among my biggest disappointments ever

The fact that it's been too long without an amazing CREA song. Imo those are the best songs she's ever done. It's possible she doesn't want to do that anymore and of course that's fine because it's her decision and all of that, but I'm still dissapointed.

No PV for HANABI. I love that song, so whenever i hear it will picture ayu singing it like HANABI Ep~II since i love how she look there.
Could be a good thing though, sometimes a bad PV could just ruin the song.

This, i think every NORMAL or SANE fan has some dislikes, however I must say I'm gettinf fed up of some people here but oh well...

ok as to the question.... hmm i don't quite pay attention to what is a dissapointment, like if i don't like something I simply don't pay anyattention to that when it comes to the artists same with Ayu, but um... Probably the drama going around Ayu, and some people who can not understand simple things like she's a singer-performer for 10000000000000000 people not for ONE person.
As for music.... nothing really comes to my mind...maybe Love songs, cuz I enjoy only a few of them. But really I can't think of anything what would make me go "Ayu, what the heck were you thinking? >_O"...

People who claims Ayu as a 100% perfection and like 100% stuff may have lack of interets and taste or kinda obssesion... But they MAY, I'm not saying that every fan of that kind is like that. Luckily, there are just a few of them.
